    Abstract: Disclosed herein are related to a system and a method of remotely rendering artificial realty. In one approach, a console determines an expected transmission end time of a first session for wireless transmission of image data indicating an image of artificial reality to a head wearable display. In one approach, the console determines an expected process end time of generating additional data associated with the image of the artificial reality. In one approach, the console compares the expected transmission end time and the expected process end time. The console may transmit, to the head wearable display in the first session, the additional data together with the image data, in response to the expected process end time being less than the expected transmission end time.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for iterative distributed beam selection include a device including at least one of a first head wearable display (HWD), a second HWD, a first console or a second console. The device detects a predefined condition. The device performs a first distributed beam selection responsive to detecting the predefined condition. Performing the first distributed beam selection includes performing beamforming to provide a first plurality of beams for a first link between the first HWD and the first console, selecting a first beam of the first link with a highest signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) from the first plurality of beams, performing beamforming to provide a second plurality of beams for a second link between the second HWD and the second console while the first beam of the first link is active, and selecting a second beam of the second link with a highest SINR from the second plurality of beams.

    Abstract: Described embodiments provide devices and methods for directing portions of signals to reduce power consumption. A wearable device may comprise N antennas configured to wirelessly receive and/or transmit incoming and/or outgoing signals. The N antennas may be spatially disposed on the device to enable at least one of the N antennas to be clear from blockage by a body part of a user when the device is maintained or worn against the body part, wherein N is an integer value greater than or equal to 2. The wearable device may comprise N receive chains coupled to the N antennas via transmit-receive couplers, the N receive chains configured to process the incoming signals. The wearable device may comprise a transmit chain configured to generate the outgoing signals. The wearable device may comprise a RF controller circuitry configured to direct portions of the generated outgoing signals via the transmit-receive couplers to the N antennas.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are related to a first device to communicate with a second device and a third device. In one aspect, the first device determines a first time interval to receive a first beacon frame from the second device. In one aspect, the first device determines, according to the first time interval, a second time interval for the first device to transmit a second beacon frame to a third device. In one aspect, the first device determines a third time interval to operate the first device in a wake up mode. The third time interval may encompass the first time interval and the second time interval. In one aspect, the first device receives the first beacon frame from the second device during the first time interval, and transmits the second beacon frame to the third device during the second time interval.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein a system, a method and a device for selecting between a primary link and a secondary link for AR/VR applications. A console can provide a VR/AR session to a user through a head wearable display. The console can determine that a first measurement of a primary link between the console and a head wearable display is less than a first threshold. The first measurement can include a quality metric of the primary link. The console can activate a secondary link between the console and the head wearable display. The console can determine whether a second measurement of the primary link between the console and the head wearable display is less than a second threshold. The console can transition when the second measurement is less than the second threshold, traffic on the primary link to the activated secondary link.
