摘要: A wireless device and method of power consumption reduction are generally described herein. The wireless device may map a plurality of data symbols to sub-carriers for an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission. The wireless device may divide the plurality of data symbols into first and second groups of data symbols. The wireless device may generate a first OFDM signal from the first group of data symbols for amplification by a first power amplifier (PA). The wireless device may generate a second OFDM signal from the second group of data symbols for amplification by a second PA. The data symbols of the first and second groups may be selected to provide a PAPR of the first OFDM signal that is lower than a PAPR of a composite OFDM signal based on the plurality of data symbols.

摘要: A radio-head apparatus can comprise synchronization circuitry to receive transmission data and a phase correction signal. The synchronization circuitry can process the transmission data and the phase correction signal to generate digital transmitter (DTX) codes. The radio-head can further include transmission circuitry to combine the phase correction signal with transmission data codes to be provided to the DTX for transmission over an air interface. 摘要: An extremely high-throughput (EHT) station (STA) may encode an EHT PPDU for transmission on a plurality of subchannels. The EHT STA may determine a spectral mask to apply to the EHT PPDU prior to transmission of the EHT PPDU. When preamble puncturing is performed, the EHT STA may apply an overall spectral mask to the EHT PPDU prior to transmission. The overall spectral mask may be based on an interim spectral mask and a preamble-puncture spectral mask. The subchannels may be in a 6 GHz band and the EHT STA may determine if preamble puncturing is to be performed for one or more of the subchannels based on a presence of incumbents in the one or more of the subchannels, although the scope of the embodiments is not limited in this respect.
