摘要: A fight analysis system to objectively determine the quality and quantity of strikes in a fight. In one exemplary embodiment, one fighter wears a plurality of passive RFID tags at different locations that are read by a striking module (e.g., a knife) when the striking module lands on, or comes in proximity to, the fighter, to provide the location of a strike. Force sensors in the striking module enable determination of the type and force of a landed strike. In another exemplary embodiment, force sensors (e.g., pressure sensors used with fluid bladders) are used to determine both the location and the force associated with a landed strike. A graphical user interface module displays information gathered by the fight analysis system.

摘要: Provided are a system and method for controlling a device through changes in a pressure of a deformable chamber such as may be controlled by a user through a user's hand and/or body. In one example, a device with a deformable chamber detects pressure level changes from a baseline and modifies output parameters including modifications on the playback of stored patterns. In another example, a massage device with a deformable chamber records the most recent pressure level changes in a sequence, interprets the pressure level sequence as a sequence of power levels to a vibratory motor, and repeats back the interpretation until a further pressure input is received above a baseline. In another example, the massage device interprets the currently input sequence of pressure levels in real-time into a sequence of power levels delivered to the vibratory motor.

摘要: A method for attaching an implant to tissue is disclosed. In embodiments, a method includes applying a sprayable material to tissue, the sprayable material possessing functional groups capable of binding to tissue. The sprayable material also possesses functional groups capable of binding to an implant. In embodiments, the functional groups capable of binding to an implant include nucleotides. In such a case, the implant possesses complementary nucleotides capable of binding to the nucleotides on the sprayable material, thereby permitting hydrogen binding between the two. The implant may thus be affixed to tissue, and repositioned as necessary, prior to more permanent attachment utilizing means such as sutures, tacks, etc.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method of forming yarns and preparing surgical devices therefrom. The yarns include at least one first filament possessing a polymer core and first reactive members known to have click reactivity on a surface thereof and at least one second filament possessing a polymer core and second reactive members known to have click reactivity on a surface thereof. The first and second reactive members are complementary such that they interact to covalently bond the filaments together.
