摘要: A method, apparatus, and a system for generating an index for storing data. A pattern associated with a first set of data is determined. The first set of data is stored. A determination is made as to whether the pattern associated with a second set of data corresponds to the pattern associated with the first set of data. An index associated with the first set of data is correlated to the second set of data in response to determining that the pattern associated with the second set of data corresponds to the pattern associated with the first set of data.

摘要: A method of identifying individual semiconductor devices with a unique inscription during the manufacturing process for the semiconductor devices. Each individual semiconductor device is marked during a final lithographic stepping exposure with a direct write laser mounted either in the stepper in the lithographic system working concurrently with the stepping fields during the final metal layer lithographic stepping exposure or during a post stepping pre-development treatment. The marking on the devices includes device identification, lot number and die number.

摘要: A resource allocation application is configured to run on a computer system that is coupled through a plurality of network resources to one or more networks. The resources are initially allocated among one or more teams and a pool. One or more usage policies are established for at least one of the teams. Resource usage is continuously monitored to identify actionable resource usage conditions. The network resources are automatically reconfigured in accordance with the one or more usage policies in response to the actionable resource usage conditions.

摘要: Method and system for performing semiconductor manufacturing scratch recognition analysis in cooperation with wafer scanning tools is disclosed. The invention comprises a method for determining from scan data associated with defects or other points on a substrate, such as a semiconductor wafer, what defects comprise part of a scratch. The method comprises, for each cluster of defects, determining whether the cluster includes a minimum number of pixels, or defects. For each cluster comprising the minimum number of defects, determining the best fit line for the cluster, rotating the best fit line about its center of gravity to "fine tune" the fitness thereof, and then calculating the line attributes of the fine tuned best fit line to determine whether the cluster is a scratch and classifying the cluster accordingly.

摘要: A computer system automatically recovers from a split segment condition in which a contiguous layer 2 network segment, comprising a plurality of contiguous paths each directly coupling one or more members of a team of network resources of the computer system to a core switch of a layer 2 network, is split into two or more noncontiguous segments each comprising a contiguous set of one or more of the plurality of paths. The computer system includes a team of network resources having one or more members that couple it to each one of the plurality of paths. A teaming driver binds the drivers of each member of the team and is coupled to the segment through the members of the team. The teaming driver detects whenever the network segment has been split into two or more noncontiguous segments and then configures the team such that one of the members coupled to a path within each of the noncontiguous segments is designated as a primary resource thereby restoring connectivity of the isolated paths to the computer system.

摘要: The invention relates to a. molded plastic landscape edging strip with integrally moulded plastic spikes that can be severed on site for use in installation and also serve during storage and handling to stiffen the rear edge of the flexible plastic edging strip. Plastic spikes are less expensive to manufacture than conventionally used galvanized steel spikes, however, when integrally moulded with the plastic edging, the marginal increase in cost of the spikes is very low. The costs and time involved in manufacturing, inventory maintenance, handling, shipping and installation are reduced as a result of integrally moulding the spikes and edging together. The edging strip has an elongate vertical wall with bottom edge, front and rear faces, a horizontal footing extending rearwardly from the bottom edge with longitudinally spaced apart apertures and elongate plastic spikes severably joined to the rearward end of the footing. The spikes have a cross-sectional profile adapted for vertical insertion through the apertures, and may include serrated edges to inhibit withdrawal after installation. The integral moulding of spikes with the edging relieves the installer and distributor from the burden of stocking and purchasing separate spikes, calculating the number of spikes necessary for installation, and eliminates the risk of misplacing spikes or forgetting to bring spikes to the job site. The integral moulding of spikes also ensures that edging and spike materials are compatible and will not corrode.
