摘要: Provided is a plant equipment state gathering system which simplifies the work relating to attaching and/or replacing a detection device that detects the state of plant equipment. A plant equipment state gathering system is provided with a detection device, a mobile terminal, a network construction device and a data storage device. The detection device includes a tag unit that can store, in a non-contact manner, at least some setting information that at least includes network information for connecting to the network from the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal includes a tag control unit that allows the tag unit of the detection device to automatically store, in a non-contact manner, at least some of the setting information. When network information is stored in the tag unit of the detection device by the mobile terminal the network construction device uses this network information to determine whether to allow the connection of the detection device to the network.

摘要: A cloud-compatible industrial device is provided. The industrial device generates or collects raw industrial data in connection with monitoring and/or controlling an automation system, and includes a cloud interface that couples the industrial device to one or more cloud-based services running on a cloud platform. To reduce consumption of cloud-based resources such as bandwidth and storage utilization, the industrial device can transform the raw industrial data into refined data that is amenable for cloud-based storage, computing, or analysis. Exemplary transformations include filtering, pruning, re-formatting, compressing, summarizing. In one or more embodiments, the industrial device can also add contextual metadata to the raw data prior to delivery to the cloud.

摘要: A method of monitoring equipment data of a piece of equipment includes extracting data specifications from a first image, the first image including data specification information for the piece of equipment, and storing the data specifications. The method further includes extracting measurement data from at least one second image, the at least one second image including measurement information for the piece of equipment. The method further includes associating the measurement data with the piece of equipment and storing the measurement data. The method further includes generating a measurement data trend profile for the piece of equipment and comparing operational measurement data against the measurement data trend profile. The method further includes notifying one or more users when the operational measurement data associated with the piece of equipment deviates from the measurement data trend profile.

摘要: Techniques for previewing an operator display of a process section in a process plant include presenting a process section on a user interface device, where the process section includes a user control for presenting and/or displaying another process section on the process plant display. In response to receiving user input indicative of a request to display a preview of the other process section via the user control, the user interface device presents the other process section while simultaneously presenting the process section in a preview mode. The process sections in the preview mode may be presented side-by-side, above and below each other, in separate display windows, etc.

Each of the monitoring devices obtains data regarding a selected one of the events. A reporting device receives the data obtained by the monitoring devices and provides a report regarding the monitored events. The report includes information regarding at least one characteristic of each of the monitored events. The information in the report is dynamically updated to provide a real time indication of the characteristics of the monitored events. The real time indications are presented in respective cells of the report.
