    摘要： A new and improved thermal type bulkhead assembly comprises a pair of new and improved thermal type bulkhead members which are adapted to be adjustably positioned with respect to each other in an overlapped mode in the widthwise direction whereby oppositely disposed side edge portions of the pair of bulkhead members can effectively engage the oppositely disposed interior side walls of the refrigerated cargo container, while upper sections of the bulkhead members can flexibly engage the ceiling portion of the refrigerated cargo container. In this manner, the lateral extent or width dimension x of the thermal type bulkhead assembly, as well as the vertical extent or height dimension y of the thermal type bulkhead assembly, can be adjustably varied whereby the thermal type bulkhead assembly of the present invention is effectively universal in structure so as to be capable of being utilized within different refrigerated cargo containers characterized by means of different internal width and height dimensions.

    摘要： A method is disclosed for forming reclosable packages at a form, fill and seal (FFS) apparatus by advancing a film of package making material longitudinally to form a tube while guiding opposite longitudinal edges of the film into a fin. A zipper having interlocking members and an attached flange is fed into the fin by capturing external surfaces of the interlocking members within a first guide member positioned adjacent to said fin and feeding the flanges along opposite sides of a second guide member positioned within said fin. An apparatus for performing the method is also disclosed.

    摘要： An external reinforcing strap system for a bulk material cargo container liner comprises a plurality of vertically spaced, horizontally oriented reinforcing straps, or a plurality of horizontally spaced, vertically oriented reinforcing straps and a plurality of vertically spaced, horizontally oriented reinforcing straps, to have their tension levels individually adjusted in an independent manner in order to provide selected sections of the external reinforcing strapping system with requisites amount of tension. In addition, a substantially U-shaped reinforcing gusset system is also disclosed which provides the necessary reinforcement for the rear wall member of the bulk material cargo container liner but with a simplified structure effectively eliminating the aforenoted strapping system.

The heater strip (16) and/or the diffuser (18) heat the zipper (23) to a predetermined temperature prior to slider insertion. The keeper (12) aligns the slider (32) within the insertion area (34) with the activator with pusher (26) of the slider insertion apparatus (10). By changing the mounting of the zipper guide (28) and by actuating the clamp (14) during slider insertion, the zipper (32) indexes to the slider insertion apparatus (10) in alternate directions.

    摘要： A bulk material cargo container liner system comprises an inflatable bulk material cargo container liner which has at least one vacuum discharge tube member disposed internally within the bulk material cargo container liner and extending throughout the longitudinal extent thereof for discharging bulk cargo material outwardly from the bulk material cargo container liner, and at least one inflatable air bag component which also extends throughout the longitudinal extent of the bulk material cargo container liner and is initially disposed in a deflated state but which is adapted to be disposed in an inflated state when the bulk cargo material can no longer be evacuated under natural gravitational forces. By inflating the at least one inflatable air bag component, the angle of repose of the bulk cargo material disposed internally within the bulk material cargo container liner is effectively altered in a positive manner so as to cause the bulk cargo material to again flow toward the at least one vacuum discharge tube member whereby the bulk cargo material can be evacuated from the bulk material cargo container liner without the need for tilting the bulk material cargo container and the liner contained therein.
