摘要: The present invention relates to a metallocene compound of the formula I, ##STR1## where Cp is an unsubstituted or substituted cyclopentadienyl group, Ind is unsubstituted or substituted indenyl, M is a tetravalent metal, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are, independently of one another, identical or different and are each a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -hydrocarbon radical, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are, independently of one another, identical or different and are each a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 -hydrocarbon radical, m is 1 or 2 and k and l are 1 when m is 1 when m is 1 and k and l are zero when m is 2. The metallocene compound is suitable as a catalyst component for olefin polymerization.

摘要: In accordance with the present invention, novel superparamagnetic magneto-dielectric polymer nanocomposites are synthesized using a novel process. The tunability of the dielectric/magnetic properties demonstrated by this novel highly-viscous solvent-free polymer nanocomposite that is amenable to building 3D electromagnetic structures/devices by using processes such as 3D printing, compression molding or injection molding, when an external DC magnetic field is applied, exceeds what has been previously reported for magneto-dielectric polymer nanocomposite materials.

摘要: The present invention describes nano-scale fabrication technique used to create a sub-micron wide gap across the center conductor of a coplanar waveguide transmission line configured in a fixed-fixed beam arrangement, resulting in a pair of opposing cantilever beams that comprise an electro-mechanical switch. Accordingly, a nanometer-scale mechanical switch with very high switching speed and low actuation voltage has been developed. This switch is intended primarily for application in the RF/microwave/wireless industry.
