摘要： A bicycle helmet is disclosed having a flexible, articulated member depending from the rear of the helmet, providing a closer fit to an individual wearer's head and improving stability of the helmet on the head, particularly for mountain bike riding. The articulated member contacts the wearer's head beneath the occipital region and applies a forward and upward pressure against the head. The general embodiment of the invention includes an elastic strap stretching from one side of the helmet, across the back of the articulated member, to the opposite side of the helmet. Adjusting this strap allows the wearer to adjust the forward and upward pressure exerted by the articulated member on the wearer's head.

The present disclosure also describes a product processing apparatus including a cross feed processing architecture. The single-pass double-sided image transfer station and cross feed processing architectures described herein provide numerous advantages over prior art product processing devices. In particular, the single-pass double-sided image transfer station provides for reduced print times, less shuttling of the product during printing, and a less complex, therefore, more reliable printing operation overall. The cross feed architecture provides an efficient processing path for the product through the device and facilitates processing modularization.

摘要： A computer terminal keyboard is sealed by a molded elastomeric top cover, shaped to conform to the housing and keys of the keyboard, and a bottom cover shaped to enclose the base of and secure the top cover around its periphery to the keyboard housing. The top cover is shaped to provide a substantially planar surface on the top plate with elevated individual key covers integrally formed in the top cover. Portitons of the top cover extending over the top face and sides of the keyboard housing are formed in a first thickness sufficient to provide a durable covering. Portions of the top cover immediately adjacent and between the individual key covers, and the sides of the key covers, are formed in a reduced, second thickness to allow for flexure as the keys are depressed. The top surface of the top cover is planar so that spilled liquid and debris are easily wiped or brushed away from around and between the key covers. The bottom cover is formed of a rigid material and has edges shaped to mate snugly against wraparound flanges on the periphery of the top cover. The bottom cover secured by screws in existing screw holes in the underside of the keyboard housing.

摘要： A button attaching device for attaching a button to a layer of material includes a C-frame having a top portion, an intermediate portion and a bottom portion. A plurality of needle block assemblies are disposed inside the top portion of the C-frame in a stack. A manually operable plunger is slidably mounted on the top portion of the C-frame for up and down movement and positioned to receive and move downward the lowermost needle block assembly in the stack. Each needle block assembly includes a block of elastomeric material, a pair of rodless fastener dispensing needles and a fastener of the type having a foot at each end of a filament. Each foot is removably mounted on one of the pair of rodless fastener dispensing needles. In use, a button and a layer of material to which the button is to be attached are positioned on top of an anvil formed on the bottom portion of the C-frame. The lowermost needle block assembly is pushed down by the plunger so that the needles extend through a pair of holes in the button and through the layer of material. The plunger is then retracted leaving the button secured to the layer of material by the fastener.

摘要： An improved, light-weight squeegee suitable for use in and around the home for cleaning and drying shower and tub enclosures, windows, and spa decks, or autos and boat decks. The squeegee is constructed without metal parts that could scratch glass, ceramic and painted surfaces or that could corrode and stain such surfaces. A cylindrical handle holds dual S-shaped blades, which extend along the handle and beyond one end of the handle to facilitate cleaning in tight spaces. The unitary blades are coextruded from thermoplastics having different hardnesses, the roots of the blades held in the slotted handle being stiff, while the extended portions of the blades used for wiping surfaces are relatively flexible. The compact size and the integral handle parallel with the blades allows the user to maneuver the squeegee efficiently in the narrow confines of glass enclosures.

The card-flipping device comprises a card-carrier unit for transporting the card in a vertical direction, a motor drive means for moving the unit in the vertical direction, and an actuator assembly including a rotatable cam arm for flipping the card over. The card-flipping device is particularly suitable for use in thermal dye printers that print images on card substrates such as driver's licenses, employee badges, student cards, and the like. After one surface of the card has been printed, the card is conveyed to the card-flipping device, where the card is flipped over so that the reverse, unprinted side of the card can be printed thereon.

摘要： A card-cleaning assembly for printers is provided. The assembly can be used in any suitable card printing apparatus, particularly thermal dye printers. Such card printers are used to print driver's licenses, employee badges, student cards, and the like. The assembly includes a card-cleaning roller and an adhesive tape cartridge. The cleaning roller contacts the card and removes dust and dirt particles and other debris from the surface of the card. The tape cartridge is attached to a pivoting arm on the printer which pivots so that the adhesive tape engages the cleaning roller and removes the debris from the roller as the roller rotates.
