摘要: A multimedia content generator automatically generates a commercial content (for example, a preview of a movie) from an original content (i.e. the movie). The multimedia content generator includes a use purpose setting unit, a use environment setting unit, and a content generator. The content editor generates the commercial content according to: use purpose of the commercial content set by the use purpose setting unit; and use environment (such as a terminal which reproduces the commercial content) set by the use environment setting unit.

摘要: An LED display device and a method for controlling the same have been proposed which comprises at least an LED matrix circuit in which LEDs are arranged in a matrix fashion, an analogue switch for respectively selecting analogue display data for respective rows in said LED matrix circuit, a sample hold circuit for sample-holding the display data selected by the analogue switch, a driver for driving and controlling the LEDs in corresponding rows of the LED matrix circuit based on the display data being sample-held, and a counter and a decoder for generating a switching signal of the analogue switch. According to this configuration, a gradation display of the LEDs is executed by virtue of the display data as analogue signals.

摘要: A method for spreading a laundered rectangular cloth including picking up a portion of the cloth so that the cloth is suspended from the picked portion, and trailing the cloth on a support to position one corner portion, being the trailing end of the cloth, at a predetermined location on the support. After the corner portion has been gripped, the cloth is supported horizontally. The cloth is regripped at two, horizontally spaced apart positions transferred to a conveyor so that a length of one edge of the cloth is straightened and positioned in the downstream end of the conveyor. The straightened edge is grasped and displaced toward a horizontal support bar extending in a direction parallel with the displacing direction to hang the cloth thereon with the opposing short edges being straightened. One of the straightened short edges is fixed to suspend the cloth therefrom in a spread state. A spreading apparatus includes a combination of various gripping, conveying and suspending mechanisms to perform the above method.

摘要: A film F in the form of a belt which is provided in a manner to be fed out and wound up is wound on a trap roller 11 which is provided opposite to a blanket 4 of a blanket wheel 3 via a contacting and withdrawing mechanism 12. The film F is caused to contact the blanket 4 to remove surplus ink or blurring ink. By this arrangement, ink trap can be made by contacting an always clean film and ink trap can also be made with a simple mechanism for contacting and withdrawing the trap roller.
