A novel polypeptide is provided, which can be utilized to treat diseases accompanying neovascularization, such as solid tumors, and is useful as a low molecular weight VEGF inhibitor. The polypeptide contains immunoglobulin-like domain 1 and immunoglobulin-like domain 2 of the extracellular domain of the VEGF receptor KDR. Since it has smaller molecular weight than the conventional polypeptides with retaining VEGF inhibitory activity, it is expected that it can be readily expressed using recombinant DNA techniques and infiltrates into diseased sites more quickly.

An epitope peptide is provided, which is capable of binding specifically to an antibody characteristic of Crohn's disease that is specifically observed in patients with Crohn's disease, together with a test method for conveniently and rapidly determining whether a subject is affected by Crohn's disease by use of the above peptide. The epitope peptide to the Crohn's disease antibody comprises a peptide having an amino acid sequences represented by any one of SEQ ID NOS: 1 to 3 or a salt thereof. A test reagent and a test method for Crohn's disease are provided, which comprise the peptide as an active ingredient.

One end portion of the strap band (3) in which the array of teeth portion (6) resides, is formed into a wavy and concavo-convex configuration in its width direction, thus increasing a meshing area of the array of teeth portion (6) against the worm screw (5). This makes it possible for the strap band (3) to cope with a situation in which the strap band (3) is required to tightly wind the connecting portion (2) with a high tightening force.
