摘要： An image forming method is performed by an image forming apparatus having a head mounting a plurality of writing units that form an image on a recording medium. The writing units are aligned in a sub-scanning direction perpendicular to a main-scanning direction. A part of the image is formed on the recording medium by the writing units, the part of the image forming a line extending in the main-scanning direction. The step of forming a part of the image is repeated while shifting the writing units in the sub-scanning direction by a predetermined amount of shift. The amount of shift of the wiring units is varied so that an amount of misalignment in a connecting portion between the parts of the image on the recording medium is reduced.

摘要： There is provided improvement of a light-heat conversion in a light-stimulated writing method. An image recording body includes an element, which absorbs light (electromagnetic wave), provided in a surface of a recording body 10, or in a recording layer formed on uppermost layer of the recording body having a material exhibiting thermal changeable character of wettability, or in a substrate or an intermediate layer of the recording body. After a liquid is on the recording body 10 by a liquid forming means 3, light-stimulated writing is carried out. When the light-stimulated writing is carried out with light (electromagnetic wave) from a light (electromagnetic wave) source according to image information, an efficiency of light-heat conversion can be enhanced by a light (electromagnetic wave)-absorbing element.

The device also includes a locking bar disposed within the reinforcing member and movable between a locked position for locking the steering gear and an unlocked position to allow the steering gear to rotate, and means for moving the locking bar between the locked position and unlocked position.

摘要： A switch operation indicator is disclosed which comprises a frame fitted with a push-type switch having a drive member which is locked into a pressed-in position by a first pressing action and unlocked to return to an original position by the next pressing action; a push button fitted in the panel of the frame so that the button can be pressed in; a coupling bar which couples the button and the drive member to each other and has an operating notched portion; an indication opening provided in the panel adjacently to the button and an indication member attached to the frame so as to be swung, along with the movement of the bar, to be engaged with or disengaged from the notched portion and is provided with an indicating portion which alternatively faces or does not face the opening as the indication member is swung back and forth by the repeated pressing actions. Alternatives include an optical guiding version and a vibration-clamping version.

摘要： A control circuit generates a right-turn or left-turn signal from a direction indicator lamp based on a direction indicating signal from a turn signal switch in a scooter as a vehicle. The control circuit then calculates a turning angle of the scooter from an angular speed V of the scooter detected by an angular speed sensor, and cancels the turn signal generated from the direction indicator lamp on the condition that the turning angle be equal to or greater than a reference turning angle, that a vehicle speed N detected by a vehicle speed sensor be equal to or higher than a reference vehicle speed, and that the angular speed detected by the angular speed sensor be equal to or lower than a reference angular speed. Accordingly, even when the scooter is waiting to make a right or left turn at an intersection with a turning angle equal to or greater than the reference turning angle and an angular speed V equal to or lower than the reference angular speed, the vehicle speed N does not become equal to or higher than the reference vehicle speed (the vehicle speed is actually zero). Therefore, the turn signal is prevented from being canceled unnecessarily.

摘要： There is provided an image forming apparatus which fixes ink in a short time without deteriorating clearness or transparency of the ink. An ink image is formed on a recording medium by the ink containing a resin and a solvent miscible with the resin. An ink curing liquid is applied to contact the ink image on the recording medium. The ink curing liquid is miscible with the solvent, and has a molecular weight greater than a molecular weight of the solvent. Alternatively, an ink curing solid is applied to contact the ink image on the recording medium. The ink curing solid has a swelling property with respect to the solvent contained in the ink.
