    Abstract: A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a ceramic main body including dielectric layers and internal electrodes, principal surfaces, side surfaces, and end surfaces, and an external electrode electrically connected to the internal electrode on both end surfaces. The dielectric layer includes at least one element of Si and Mg. In a section defined by the width and lamination directions at a position of a central portion in the length direction of the ceramic main body, an outside in the width direction is higher than a central portion in the width direction in an amount of at least one element existing in a rectangular region of about 10 μm×about 10 μm of the dielectric layer in planar view, and continuity of the internal electrodes within a range of about 10 μm from an end in the width direction of the internal electrodes is greater than or equal to about 95%.

The base body includes an inner layer, first and second outer layers, first and second side margin portions. The dielectric layers in the inner layer and the first and second outer layers include main crystal grains including barium and titanium, and with respect to 100 parts by mol of titanium, nickel in an amount of about 0.2 to about 3.0 parts by mol, and at least one rare earth element selected from yttrium, praseodymium, neodymium, samarium, europium, gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium, and lutetium in an amount of about 0.6 parts to about 2.0 parts by mol.

    Abstract: A multilayer electronic component includes a multilayer body including a plurality of stacked dielectric layers and a plurality of internal electrode layers between adjacent dielectric layers of the plurality of stacked dielectric layers. The plurality of stacked dielectric layers each have a plurality of crystal grains including a first phase. The multilayer body defines an electrode facing portion where the plurality of internal electrode layers and the plurality of stacked dielectric layers face each other, and defines an external peripheral portion surrounding the electrode facing portion. A portion of the plurality of stacked dielectric layers in the external peripheral portion include, in at least some of grain boundaries of the plurality of crystal grains, a second phase including at least one of Sn, Cu, Fe, Ni, Cr, Mn, V, Al, and P, and the second phase is a different compound from the first phase.

    Abstract: A multilayer electronic component having a plurality of stacked dielectric layers and a plurality of internal electrode layers. Each of the dielectric layers has a plurality of crystal grains including a perovskite-type compound containing Ba, a first rare earth element and a second rare earth element. A difference between a positive trivalent ion radius of the first rare earth element and a positive divalent ion radius of Ba is smaller than a difference between a positive trivalent ion radius of the second rare earth element and the positive divalent ion radius of Ba. A sum of an amount of the first rare earth element and the second rare earth element in a first region along a grain boundary is larger than a sum of an amount of the first rare earth element and the second rare earth element in a second region in a center portion of the crystal grain.

    Abstract: An electronic component includes a laminate including internal electrodes alternately laminated in a lamination direction with dielectric layers interposed therebetween. The laminate includes main surfaces opposite to each other in the lamination direction, side surfaces opposite to each other in a width direction, and end surfaces opposite to each other in a length direction, and external electrodes provided on surfaces of the laminate and electrically connected to the internal electrodes. Each of the dielectric layers includes Ti and Mg. When a cross section including the length direction and the width direction of the laminate is viewed from the lamination direction, side margin portions in which the internal electrodes do not exist each include a dielectric including Ti and Mg with a molar ratio in each of the side margin portions smaller than a molar ratio of Mg to Ti included in each of the dielectric layers.
