    Abstract: Provided is a zinc-air secondary battery capable of preventing both of the short-circuiting between positive and negative electrodes caused by zinc dendrites and the carbon dioxide incorporation. This zinc-air secondary battery includes an air electrode (12) functioning as a positive electrode; an inorganic solid electrolyte body (14) provided in direct contact with one side of the air electrode and having hydroxide ion conductivity; a metal negative electrode (16) provided opposite to the air electrode with respect to the inorganic solid electrolyte body and comprising zinc or a zinc alloy; and an electrolyte solution in which the metal negative electrode is immersed, the electrolyte solution being separated from the air electrode by the inorganic solid electrolyte body.

    Abstract: Provide is a zinc secondary battery capable of preventing a short circuit between the positive and negative electrodes caused by zinc dendrites.
