摘要: A separation membrane complex includes a porous support, an intermediate membrane which is a polycrystalline membrane formed on a surface of the support and has pores that are originated from a framework structure and have an average pore diameter smaller than that of pores in the vicinity of the surface of the support, and a separation membrane which is formed on the intermediate membrane and is an inorganic membrane having a regular pore structure. In the separation membrane, a functional group is introduced into pores of a surface layer thereof which is away from the intermediate membrane.

摘要: In an RHO-type zeolite, in a case where a peak at a lattice spacing of 9.96 to 11.25 Å in a measurement using a powder X-ray diffraction method is assumed as a reference peak and an intensity of the reference peak is assumed as 100, a relative intensity of a peak at a lattice spacing of 4.59 to 4.85 Å is 150 to 300, a relative intensity of a peak at a lattice spacing of 3.55 to 3.64 Λ is 200 to 500, and a relative intensity of a peak at a lattice spacing of 2.98 to 3.06 Å is 100 to 200.

摘要: A separation membrane complex includes a porous support and a separation membrane formed on the support. The separation membrane has a small void. A small void index Ik expressed by (Σ(Sk1.5))/(Sm1.5) and indicating the abundance ratio of small voids is higher than or equal to 10×10−15, and a large void index Ip expressed by (Σ(Sp2))/(Sm2) and indicating the abundance ratio of large voids is lower than 200×10−22, where Sm is the surface area of the separation membrane, Sk is the area per small void, and Sp is the area per large void. Accordingly, the separation membrane complex can achieve a high separation ratio.

摘要: A gas separation apparatus includes a gas supply part and a zeolite membrane. The gas supply part supplies a mixed gas at a pressure greater than or equal to 10 atm and less than or equal to 200 atm. The mixed gas contains at least CH4, CO2, and N2. A water content of the mixed gas is made less than or equal to 3000 ppm. The zeolite membrane allows CO2 and N2 in the mixed gas to permeate therethrough, to thereby separate CO2 and N2 from CH4. The zeolite membrane is made of zeolite. The zeolite contains Al. A ratio of alkali metal to whole framework elements in the zeolite is less than or equal to 6.0 mol %. An amount of substance of the alkali metal in the zeolite is less than an amount of substance of Al.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a zeolite membrane structure includes a step of forming a first zeolite membrane on a porous support by hydrothermal synthesis in a state in which the porous support is immersed in a first zeolite membrane formation solution, a step of immersing the porous support formed the first zeolite membrane for greater than or equal to 5 minutes in a second zeolite membrane formation solution at greater than or equal to 10 degrees C. and less than or equal to 70 degrees C. and greater than or equal to pH 10, and a step of forming a second zeolite membrane on the first zeolite membrane by hydrothermal synthesis in a state in which the porous support formed the first zeolite membrane is immersed in the second zeolite membrane formation solution. The first zeolite membrane and the second zeolite membrane share at least one composite building unit constituting a framework structure.

摘要: A gas separation system includes an adsorption apparatus and a separation membrane apparatus. A mixed gas including a target gas is introduced into the adsorption apparatus. A replacement gas is further introduced into the adsorption apparatus, and at least part of the gas exhausted from the adsorption apparatus at this time is introduced into a space on the non-permeate side of the separation membrane apparatus to obtain a first enriched gas enriched with the target gas by the separation membrane. Meanwhile, after the introduction of the replacement gas, the gas is exhausted from the adsorption apparatus while causing an adsorbent to desorb or dissipate the target gas so as to obtain a second enriched gas enriched with the target gas.

摘要: A porous cylindrical support for use in supporting a zeolite membrane has a generally cylindrical inside surface having a central axis extending in the longitudinal direction and a generally cylindrical outside surface that surrounds the inside surface. A zeolite membrane is formed on the outside surface. A maximum value A and a minimum value B of a support thickness in a circumferential direction satisfy (A−B)/(A+B)≤0.3 in at least part of the support in the longitudinal direction, the support thickness being a radial distance between the inside surface and the outside surface. By reducing a variation in support thickness, it is possible to improve uniformity in the thickness of the zeolite membrane formed on the support.

摘要: A gas separator includes a separation membrane complex in which a separation membrane with pores having a mean pore diameter less than or equal to 1 nm is formed on a porous support, and a gas supply part that supplies a mixed gas including CO2 and another gas from the side of the separation membrane to the separation membrane complex. Then, CO2 in the mixed gas is caused to permeate through the separation membrane and the support and is separated from the mixed gas in a state in which at least part of a permeation surface of the support, from which a gas having permeated through the separation membrane is exhausted, has a temperature lower by 10° C. or more than the temperature of the mixed gas before being supplied to the separation membrane complex.
