Abstract: A packet transfer device 100 includes a packet classification unit 120 configured to classify received packets, queues 140 for respective classifications, priorities being set to the queues, a dequeue processing unit 150 configured to extract packets from the queue under a predetermined rule based on the priorities set to the queues, and a queue priority control unit 130 configured to perform control, upon detecting that a reception amount of packets related to a communication flow temporarily or intermittently increases from a reception amount under a normal condition, such that a priority of one of the queues holding the packets related to the communication flow is temporarily raised from a priority under the normal condition, during a period while the reception amount of packets related to the communication flow temporarily or intermittently increases.

Abstract: A packet transfer apparatus is configured to perform packet exchange processing for exchanging multiple continuous packets with low delay while maintaining fairness between communication flows of the same priority level. The packet transfer apparatus includes: a packet classification unit; queues that holds the classified packets for each classification; and a dequeue processing unit that extracts packets from the queues. The dequeue processing unit includes a scheduling unit that controls the packet extraction amount extracted from the queue for a specific communication flow based on information on the amount of data that is requested by the communication flow and is to be continuously transmitted in packets.

Abstract: A delay measurement device that is to be connected, via a communication network, to a rendering server that performs rendering processing on an image, includes: transmission means for transmitting, to the rendering server, sensor information acquired from a sensor included in the delay measurement device and trigger information acquired in a predetermined time period; receiving means for receiving a rendered image generated through the rendering processing performed in the rendering server based on the sensor information and the trigger information; and measurement means for measuring a predetermined delay based on a difference between a first time indicating a time when the trigger information was transmitted to the rendering server and a second time indicating a time when the rendered image or a predetermined image was displayed.
