摘要: A technique for compressing and transmitting data without hampering real-time performance can be offered. In a data compression transmission system for collecting data generated by a plurality of devices at a central server via a network, an intermediate server is arranged between the devices and the central server. Each of the devices includes a packet cache processing unit for converting the generated data to a hash value based on a cache. The intermediate server includes a packet cache processing unit for decoding the hash value to original data based on the cache, a buffering unit for aggregating the data and outputting the data as a long packet, and a compression encoding unit for compressing the data and generating encoded data.

The server apparatus manages, for each of a plurality of real spaces, information for identifying the real space and anchor information for defining a superimposition position of the virtual space in the real space and, in a case where an acquisition request for anchor information corresponding to a first real space is received from the terminal, transmits response information including anchor information corresponding to the first real space and anchor information corresponding to a second real space adjacent to the first real space to the terminal. The terminal stores the response information received from the server apparatus and, in a case where the terminal is placed into the second real space, displays an image representing a mixed reality space based on anchor information corresponding to the second real space.-

Based on information indicating installation positions and processing capabilities of the servers, information on installation positions of base stations, and acquired location information of the devices, the coverage area control apparatus performs, at a certain time interval, a clustering calculation for obtaining an optimum coverage area for the servers that satisfies the requirements that the communication distances between the servers and the respective devices be minimized and the servers not be overloaded. Based on the information indicating the optimum coverage area obtained by the clustering calculation, assignments of the base stations to the servers are updated.

摘要: The present invention offers a network management technique that can realize effective acquisition of various data transmitted from terminals, while reducing the network congestion. In a network management system including a plurality of terminals that can transmit data, a plurality of destination devices that perform respective predetermined processes based on the data, a relay device arranged between them, and a management device communicable with the terminals, the destination devices, and the relay device, the management device receives a request regarding required data from the destination devices; and, in response to the request, instructs to integrate data items that are to be relayed to individual destination devices. Upon receipt of the instruction, the relay device identifies and integrates data items that are to be relayed to the individual destination devices from among data items transmitted from the terminals, and transmits the integrated data to corresponding ones of the destination devices, based on the instruction.
