Abstract: A catheter having an elongated lumen extending along a longitudinal axis, includes: an inner layer member having an inner circumferential surface in contact with the lumen; an outer layer member having an outer circumferential surface of the catheter; a first reinforcing member having a shape of coil, provided outside the inner layer member, between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface; and a second reinforcing member having a shape of braid, provided outside the first reinforcing member, between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface. According to this technique, rigidity, pushability, torque transmission performance, and kink resistance of the catheter can be ensured while the thickness of the catheter is kept small.

Abstract: A flush device including: a first housing provided with a first flow path; a second housing provided with a second flow path, the second housing being coupled to the first housing; a flow control device including a protrusion and a through hole connecting the first flow path to the second flow path in fluid communication; and an elastic member provided around the base of the flow control device to seal off a space between the first and the second flow paths. The elastic member is deformed to further connect the first and second flow paths in fluid communication. The first housing has an inner periphery provided with fitting receiving portions each being fitted to each of the fitting projections of the protrusion. According to this structure, the flush device can discharge a chemical liquid at a flow rate close to a defined amount.

Abstract: Provided is a stent having a novel structure, the stem simultaneously having both the stability of shape against the action of external force, such as compression force, tensile force, or torsional force, and high flexibility in the direction of twisting of the stem. Connection groups are provided at three or more positions set at circumferentially equally-spaced intervals, the connection groups each including connection sections which are disposed circumferentially close to each other between axially adjacent tubular divided bodies. The connection groups on both sides axially of each of the tubular divided bodies are provided at positions circumferentially offset from each other while at least one turning portion is present between the connection groups.
