Abstract: A brake pad has a brake lining with a first section and a second section. The first section includes a plurality of first layers having a first material and a plurality of second layers having a second material. The first material is different from the second material. The plurality of first layers and the plurality of second layers are alternatingly arranged between one another. The second section includes a plurality of third layers having the second material and a plurality of fourth layers having the first material. Abstract: A control system for controlling axle hop in a vehicle includes a sensor and an electronic controller. The sensor is configured to detect a vibration of an axle and to detect a wheel slip of a wheel. The electronic controller is configured to determine whether one of the detected axle vibration exceeds a first predetermined threshold or the detected wheel slip exceeds a second predetermined threshold. An engine traction control system is started upon determining that the one of the detected axle vibration exceeds the first predetermined threshold or that the detected wheel slip exceeds the second predetermined threshold.

Abstract: A vehicle dynamic control monitoring system includes a vehicle, a warning indicator, at least one vehicle dynamic control system (VDC), a tire pressure sensor and an electronic controller. The vehicle has a plurality of wheels rotatably mounted to the vehicle. The warning indicator is installed to the vehicle at a location visible to a vehicle operator. The at least one VDC and the tire pressure sensor are installed to the vehicle. The electronic controller is connected to the warning indicator, the at least one VDC and the tire pressure sensor. The electronic controller is configured such that in response to determining that at least one of the wheels has a tire pressure that is below a predetermined tire pressure range, the warning indicator is displayed indicating that the at least one VDC will operate with reduced effectiveness.

Abstract: A brake pipe fitting tool includes a first hydraulic pipe wrench, a second hydraulic pipe wrench, a connecting portion and a handle portion. Abstract: A vehicle dynamic control monitoring system includes an electronic display, a vehicle dynamic control system (VDC), a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) system and an electronic controller. The electronic display, the VDC and the TPMS are all installed to a vehicle and are all connected to the electronic controller. The electronic controller is configured such that, in response to determining that at least one of the wheels has a tire pressure that is below a predetermined tire pressure range, a tire pressure warning signal is indicated by the electronic display, and in response to determining that at least one of the wheels has a tire pressure that is below the predetermined tire pressure range and the vehicle is moving above a predetermined vehicle speed, a VDC warning indicator is displayed on the electronic display indicating that the at least one VDC will operate with reduced effectiveness.
