A surface protective film, including: a backing layer; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, in which: the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes a polyurethane-based resin; and the surface protective film has a pressure-sensitive adhesive strength for an acrylic plate of 0.5 N/25 mm or less after being attached to the acrylic plate and stored at 70° C. for 1 day. Another surface protective film including: a backing layer; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, in which: the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes a polyurethane-based resin; the polyurethane-based resin includes a polyurethane-based resin obtained by curing a composition including a polyol (A) having at least two OH groups and a polyfunctional isocyanate compound (B); and the polyfunctional isocyanate compound (B) includes a polyfunctional aromatic isocyanate compound.

The present invention provides a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) sheet that achieves both low initial adhesiveness and strong adhesiveness upon use and has excellent transparency of the PSA layer. The PSA sheet provided herein includes a PSA layer having a haze value of 1.0% or less. The PSA sheet is configured so that a pressure-sensitive adhesive strength N1, after the PSA layer is attached to a stainless steel plate and left at 23° C. for 30 minutes, is 1.5 N/20 mm or less, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive strength N2, after the PSA layer is attached to a stainless steel plate and heated at 80° C. for 5 minutes, is 10.0 N/20 mm or more.

A resin composition includes: a polyol (A) having at least two OH groups; a polyfunctional isocyanate compound (B); a catalyst (C); and a compound (D) that undergoes keto-enol tautomerization, in which: a content ratio of the polyfunctional isocyanate compound (B) with respect to 100 parts by weight of the polyol (A) is 1 part by weight to 100 parts by weight; and the catalyst (C) includes an iron-based compound containing iron as an active center thereof. The resin composition can serve as a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing a polyurethane-based resin. Also provided are a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet and a surface protective film each including such pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.

A reinforcing film comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive layer laminated and fixed on a principal surface of a film substrate. The pressure sensitive adhesive layer is formed of a photocurable composition containing a photocurable agent and a base polymer having a crosslinked structure. A frictional force of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer measured with a frictional force microscope at a frequency of 5 Hz is preferably 2 to 5 times a frictional force at a frequency of 0.1 Hz. After photocuring of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a frictional force of a photocured pressure sensitive adhesive layer measured with the frictional force microscope at a frequency of 5 Hz is preferably not less than 5 times a frictional force measured at a frequency of 0.1 Hz.

A reinforcing film comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive layer laminated and fixed on a principal surface of a film substrate. The pressure sensitive adhesive layer is formed of a photocurable composition containing a photocurable agent and a base polymer having a crosslinked structure. The gel fraction of the photocurable composition is preferably 60% or more. The shear storage elastic modulus at 25° C. of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is preferably 1×104 to 1.2×105 Pa. The shear storage elastic modulus at 25° C. of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer after photocuring is preferably 1.5×105 to 2×106 Pa.

The present invention provides a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) sheet that achieves, in the form having a support substrate, both low initial adhesiveness and strong adhesiveness during use. The PSA sheet provided in this application includes a support substrate and a PSA layer laminated on at least one side of the support substrate. The PSA layer has a thickness of 3 μm or more but less than 100 μm. The support substrate has a thickness of 30 μm or more. Provided is a surface protective film including, as an outermost layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing a urethane-based pressure-sensitive adhesive as a main component, the surface protective film allowing the contamination of an adherend to be extremely suppressed, and being preferably excellent in wettability and reworkability. The surface protective film of the present invention includes, as an outermost layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing, as a main component, a urethane-based pressure-sensitive adhesive containing a polyurethane-based resin; and when a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer side of the surface protective film is attached to a glass plate at 50° C. for 10 days and then the surface protective film is peeled from the glass plate, a residual adhesive strength on the peeled surface side of the glass plate is 3.0 N/19 mm or more.
