    Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, a method, apparatus and software program product for partitioning channel state information into groups of different priority levels, wherein said channel state information comprises non zero coefficients and said partitioning comprises using at least one permutation function to prioritize said non-zero coefficients substantially based on an amplitude distribution of said non zero coefficients to determine mapping of said non zero coefficients to said groups, and further for omitting zero or more non-zero coefficients in accordance with said amplitude distribution based prioritizing from said groups, and for transmitting remaining non zero coefficients in said groups.

    Abstract: A method includes: receiving, from a network, a channel state information report configuration including one or more sub-configurations, wherein a sub-configuration of the one or more sub-configurations is associated with at least one channel state information reference signal antenna port subset; determining, for a calculation of one or more channel state information quantities for the sub-configuration corresponding to or indicating the at least one channel state information reference signal antenna port subset, a hypothetical physical downlink shared channel by considering an antenna port restriction based on the at least one channel state information reference signal antenna port subset the sub-configuration corresponds to or indicates; and calculating the one or more channel state information quantities for the sub-configuration, based on the formed hypothetical physical downlink shared channel.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for Uplink Control Information (UCI) design. The method comprises determining, at a terminal device, a matrix comprising a set of non-zero linear combination coefficients for quantizing a channel between the terminal device and a network device, the matrix having spatial components and frequency components; shifting the frequency components of the matrix circularly, such that a target coefficient of the set of non-zero linear combination coefficients is located in a frequency component with a predetermined index of the frequency components in a shifted matrix; generating a first indication indicating the spatial component associated with the target coefficient in the matrix; and transmitting, to the network device, uplink control information comprising the first indication. In this way, a new solution for designing the UCI may reduce the overhead for reporting the parameters in the UCI.

    Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, a method comprising: selecting, by a user equipment, a subset of linear combination coefficients from a linearized two-dimensional matrix having columns of frequency domain components and rows of spatial beams components for channel state information determination, wherein the number of linear combination coefficients in the subset is less than all of the linear combination coefficients; determining indication comprising information associated with column indices of the selected subset of linear combination coefficients from the linearized two-dimensional matrix, wherein the indication excludes the index of the column with lowest index of the linearized two-dimensional matrix; determining compressed channel state information comprising locations in the linearized two-dimensional matrix of the subset of linear combination coefficients and corresponding values of the linear combination coefficients at those locations; and reporting, from the user equipment toward the base station, the compressed channel state information.

    Abstract: A method for predicting channel state information is described. The method includes determining whether or not geodesic prediction is to be performed and transmitting the determination of whether or not geodesic prediction is to be performed in a first part of uplink control signaling. In response to determining that geodesic prediction is not to be performed, the method includes transmitting a current channel estimate in a second part of uplink control signaling, and in response to determining that geodesic prediction is to be performed, the method includes transmitting either a determined current value of a tangent vector, or a determined step size parameter, or both the determined current value of the tangent vector and the determined step size parameter in the second part of uplink control signaling. Channel state information is predicted based on information provided in the first and second parts of uplink control signaling.

    Abstract: A UE measures RSs from at least two different groups of RSs transmitted from at least two different TRPs from corresponding different base stations. The UE calculates CSI for the at least two TRPs based on RSs configured in the at least two different groups. The UE sends report(s) corresponding to the calculated CSI, the report(s) comprising information for at least the two TRPs of a number of reported hypotheses for a single-TRP measurement and a corresponding association to a number of configured hypotheses for a single-TRP measurement. A TRP, under control of the base station, sends the RSs and receives the report(s).
