    Abstract: Example embodiments of the invention provide at least a method and apparatus for performing identifying, by a network node of a communication network, a configuration of interface availability for performing at least one of v2x service and/or proximity services by each of at least one network device; and communicating with the at least one network device information comprising the configuration based on the interface availability for use in performing the at least one of v2x service and/or proximity services. Further, for performing receiving, by a network device of a communication network, information comprising a configuration of interface availability for performing at least one of v2x service and/or proximity services by the network device; and determining, based on the received configuration, the interface availability for performing the at least one of v2x service and/or proximity services.

    Abstract: There are provided measures for handling of paging messages in communication endpoint to network relaying scenarios. Such measures exemplarily comprise, at a relay terminal connected to a mobile access entity of a cellular network systems, selecting, for a terminal to be relayed, a sidelink communication group of a set of configured sidelink communication groups, monitoring network-served paging indicator resources corresponding to said terminal to be relayed for a network-served paging related identifier indicative of transmission of a network-served paging message and information on network-served paging message resources for said transmission of said network-served paging message, transmitting, if said network-served paging related identifier indicative of transmission of said network-served paging message is detected in said network-served paging indicator resources corresponding to said terminal to be relayed and information indicative of paging of said terminal to be relayed is identified in said network-served paging message transmitted in said network-sewed paging message resources as a result of said monitoring, in inter-terminal paging indicator resources configured for said sidelink communication group and next to said network-served paging message resources including said information indicative of paging of said terminal to be relayed, an inter-terminal paging related identifier indicative of transmission of an inter-terminal paging message and information on inter-terminal paging message resources for said transmission of an said inter-terminal paging message, and transmitting said inter-terminal paging message in said inter-terminal paging message resources for said transmission of said inter-terminal paging message.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of a proactive switch of vehicle-to-everything communication from a device-to-device connection to a connection routed by one or more network devices. In example embodiments, a first terminal device receives, from a second terminal device via a device-to-device connection, an indication of a decision to switch the device-to-device connection to a connection routed by at least one network device for communication with the second terminal device. Based on the received indication from the second terminal device, the first terminal device then determines proactive switching from the device-to-device connection to the routed connection to be performed. The first terminal device then sends a request to a first network device of the at least one network device to set up the routed connection, the request indicating a cause for the determined proactive switching.
