    Abstract: A cam device having a drive cam and a driven cam; and a friction engagement device having at least one friction plate and at least one separation plate are provided. The friction engagement device is configured so as to be put into a connected state by pressing the friction plate and the separation plate against each other by the driven cam, and a disconnected state. Also provided are a rotation transmission state switching device having a first member and a second member coaxially arranged, and a mode selecting part configured to rotate or displace in the axial direction according to rotation of the drive cam. The rotation transmission state switching device has at least one mode of a free mode and a lock mode of the first member and the second member, and a one-way clutch mode.

    Abstract: A toroidal continuously variable transmission include a pair of disks which is provided rotatably and concentrically with each other in a state where inner surfaces of respective disks are opposed to each other and a power roller held between the disks opposing to each other.     Abstract: A single-cavity toroidal continuously variable transmission capable of suppressing gyro slippage and achieving mitigation of bearing loss and a longer service life. A pitch circle diameter (PCD) of the output-side bearing is smaller than that of the input-side bearing and a ball diameter of the output-side bearing is smaller than that of the input-side bearing. Therefore, centrifugal force acting on the ball of the output-side bearing on a speed increasing side with a low load can be suppressed. Therefore, gyro slippage can be suppressed and mitigation of bearing loss can be achieved. Furthermore, with a groove R ratio of the output-side bearing smaller than that of the input-side bearing, a longer service life can be achieved even when the pitch circle diameter (PCD) and ball diameter of the output-side bearing are smaller than those of the input-side bearing.

    Abstract: The electric motor with a reverse input cutoff clutch has an output shaft. The output shaft is configured by connecting a first shaft and a second shaft that are coaxially arranged with each other via the reverse input cutoff clutch. The second shaft is rotatably supported to a housing by one radial bearing. The reverse input cutoff clutch has a function that, when rotational torque is inputted to the first shaft, transmits the rotational torque inputted to the first shaft to the second shaft, and when rotational torque is reversely inputted to the second shaft, completely cuts off the rotational torque reversely inputted to the second shaft, and does not transmit the rotational torque to the first shaft, or transmits a part of the rotational torque to the first shaft, and cuts off the remaining part.

    Abstract: A reverse input blocking clutch includes an input member, an output member, a pressed member, and an engaging member. When a rotational torque is inputted to the input member, the engaging member moves in a direction away from a pressed surface of the pressed member due to engagement with the input member, and transmits the rotational torque inputted to the input member to the output member due to engagement with the output member; and when rotational torque is reversely inputted to the output member, moves in the direction closer to the pressed surface based on engagement with the output member, and by being pressed against the pressed surface does not transmit the rotational torque reversely inputted to the output member to the input member, or transmits only part thereof to the input member due to engagement with the input member.
