摘要: A seal equipped bearing assembly includes a plurality of rolling elements interposed between opposite raceway surfaces defined in respective raceway rings; a sealing member to seal a bearing space delimited between the raceway rings; and a gap formation facilitating element defined in a seal contact face in the other of the raceway rings, the gap formation facilitating element being a projection provided in a circumferential portion of the seal contact face in the raceway ring. The gap formation facilitating element is configured to render the sealing member to be a non-contact seal or to contact so that the contact pressure is approximately zero when the bearing assembly is in a rotating state. The sealing member is provided with a suction preventing device for preventing the sealing member from being sucked onto the other of the raceway rings.

摘要: The rolling bearing seal includes a core metal and rubber adhered to the core metal by vulcanization. The rubber includes: a seal lip portion having, over the entire circumference in the circumferential direction, a plurality of projections that extend inward in the radial direction from the inner diameter side of the core metal, and slides on a seal sliding surface of an inner ring of a rolling bearing; and an attachment portion that is attached to an outer ring of the rolling bearing. A compression vulcanization molding mold includes a female mold and a male mold. The female mold has a guide portion for positioning the core metal and a rugged shape forming the projections on the seal lip portion. The male mold has an inner-diameter-side burr groove and an outer-diameter-side burr groove and the shape of a radially outermost portion of the inner-diameter-side burr groove is formed in a circle.

摘要: A sealed bearing assembly includes seal members each including a seal lip with multiple protrusions, and being arranged such that oil passages are defined between the seal lip and a seal sliding surface which is configured to slide circumferentially relative to the protrusions such that the oil passages communicate with a bearing internal space and an exterior of the bearing, and prevent passage of foreign objects having particle diameters larger than a predetermined value therethrough. The seal lip and the seal sliding surface are arranged such that, when the bearing rotates, lubricating oil in the oil passages is pulled into spaces between the seal lip and the seal sliding surface such that a fluid lubricating condition is created between the seal lip and the seal sliding surface, due to a wedge effect.

A fitting section (13) fitted into a seal mounting groove (2b) in a seal member main body (8) is held in a drag-rotation preventive structure that prevents circumferential movement due to a drag-rotation relative to an outer ring (2).

摘要: A rolling contact bearing assembly includes a seal member having a seal lip segment. The seal lip segment includes a waist portion having, as viewed in a cross section, a bent V-shape such that a surface of the seal lip segment on outer side defines a relief recess and also includes a protrusion portion distal to the waist portion and having a tapered shape narrowing towards a free end thereof. The seal member installed in the bearing assembly applies urging force on one of inner and outer raceway rings, against change in degree of interference of the protrusion portion with the raceway ring. The protrusion portion includes such high wear material that rotation of the bearing assembly results in wear of the protrusion portion to cause the protrusion portion to make non-contact status or light contact status of a contact pressure of substantially zero.

摘要: A retainer for a ball bearing includes two annular members that face each other in an axial direction thereof. The two annular members include opposed surfaces each having hemispherical pockets that are formed at positions in a circumferential direction of each of the two annular members and configured to receive balls. The opposed surfaces are snap-fitted to each other to couple together the two annular members. The hemispherical pockets each have an inner peripheral surface provided with ball contact and ball non-contact surfaces. The ball contact surface is formed at a central portion in a pocket circumferential direction and at least at a central portion in a pocket axial direction of the inner peripheral surface. The ball non-contact surface includes a recess recessed to an opposite side to a corresponding ball across the ball contact surface and is opened in at least one of pocket axial ends.
