When display device specifies reference position BP1 or BP2 after screen SC1 including selectable objects is displayed on display surface, display device enlarges and displays objects located in specific region Ts according to the specified reference position (objects having reference sign “M” at the end). This allows for supporting the user in indicating by a contact operation of an object located at a position further away from the finger when the user operates display device with one hand.

When detecting a contact operation that indicates object b1 for which selection is set to valid, display device specifies object b1 as a selected object by a user.
