    摘要: A 3-dimensional (3D) precast locating system for identifying and tracking 3D location, that includes ground elevation and geographical location, of a precast, is provided. The system comprises an RFID tag embedded within the precast, a precast lifting machinery having a hook for lifting the precast, wherein a 3D location of the lifting machinery is predetermined as a reference, and an RFID reader attached to the lifting machinery for identifying the precast by operationally reading the RFID tag of the lifted precast. The system further comprises a sensor assembly for detecting an instant 3D location of the hook with reference to the predetermined 3D location of the lifting machinery and a position translational controller for deriving an instant 3D location of the lifted precast based on the 3D location of the hook detected by the sensor assembly, with reference to the predetermined 3D location of the lifting machinery.

    摘要: A signal transmitted from a mobile device is received at a device. A change in angle-of-arrival (AoA) of the signal is computed as the mobile device moves from a first location to a second location. A first distance and a second distance of the mobile from the device corresponding to the first and second locations, respectively are computed. A displacement of the mobile device from the first location to the second location is computed based on mobility information provided by a sensor of the mobile device. A change in an angle of direct path (ANDP) of the signal is computed based on the first distance, the second distance, and the displacement. The ANDP is determined based on a comparison of the change in AoA to the change in ANDP.

    摘要: Methods, systems, devices, and apparatuses are described for location tracking in which each tag used to track an asset or person in an indoor environment transmits ranging waveforms used to estimate a location of the tag. Multiple tags may concurrently transmit without interfering with each other by having each tag use a distinct frequency shift for the ranging waveforms. Access points may be deployed throughout the indoor environment as part of a wireless network (e.g., ultra-wideband or UWB network) that tracks the assets. The access points may receive the ranging waveforms transmitted by the tags and may perform measurements based on the ranging waveforms. The measurements may be sent to a tracking management server to estimate the location of the tags. The server may also determine and assign the distinct frequency shifts used by the tags and may modify the assignment when the number of tags being tracked changes.
