摘要： Disclosed is a silver halide color photographic material having at least one light-sensitive emulsion layer on a support, in which at least 50%, as the total projected area, of all the silver halide grains in at least one light-sensitive emulsion layer are tabular grains having a mean aspect ratio of 2 or more and at least one layer constituting the material contains a coupler of the following formula (I) and/or a coupler of the following formula (II): ##STR1## where X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 each represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group; X.sup.3 represents an organic residue forming a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group along with >N-- in the formula; Y represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; and Z represents a group capable of being released from the formula when the coupler of the formula reacts with an oxidation product of a developing agent. The material preferably contains a compound of formula (A):Q--SM.sup.1 (A)where Q represents a heterocyclic residue having at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of --SO.sub.3 M.sup.2, --COOM.sup.2, --OH and --NR.sup.1 R.sup.2 bonded thereto directly or indirectly; M.sup.1 and M.sup.2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, a quaternary ammonium group, or a quaternary phosphonium group; and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group. The material has a high sensitivity and has excellent graininess, pressure resistance, color reproducibility and sharpness.

摘要： A silver halide color photographic material containing at least one coupler compound of the formula (1) in at least one hydrophilic colloid layer which is provided on a support:R.sup.1 OCOCHXCONR.sup.2 R.sup.3 (1)where R.sup.1 represents a branched alkyl group including a cyclic alkyl group and a cyclic alkyl-substituted alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; X represents a group which splits off from the coupler compound when the coupler compound is reacted with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent; and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may be bonded to each other to form a ring. The coupler has a high dye-forming rate to give a dye having a high color density and a high color fastness. The material has improved sharpness and color fastness and an elevated sensitivity.

The photographic material comprises a support having provided thereon at least one light-sensitive emulsion layer containing a coupler represented by the general formula (I) and/or a coupler represented by the general formula (II), silver iodobromide containing 15 to 45 mol % silver iodide in a definite layer structure in the emulsion layer, and chemically sensitized silver halide grains having a total silver iodide content of more than 7 mol %: ##STR1## wherein X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 each represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; X.sup.3 represents an organic residue which forms a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group together with >N--; Y represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; and Z represents a group capable of being separated from the coupler upon the reaction of the coupler with the oxidation product of a developing agent.

摘要： A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer is disclosed, wherein said light-sensitive material contains a DIR coupler represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A represents a coupler residue; R represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a pyridyl group; and n represents 1 when A represents a phenol type or naphthol type coupler residue, or n represents 0 when A represents other coupler residues, and said emulsion layer contains chemically sensitized silver halide grains which individually have a distinct layer comprising silver iodobromide containing from 7 to 45 mol % of silver iodide and which individually have an overall silver iodide content of more than 4 mol %. The photographic material is excellent in sensitivity, graininess, sharpness, color reproducibility, and preservability and is less liable to variation in photographic performance properties even when continuously processed under replenishment.
