    摘要: A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 for an optical data recording medium D1 from which a signal with a mark length shorter than the resolution limit of an optical system of a reproducing device is capable of being reproduced by reproduction light emitted during reproducing, the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 having an adhesive transparent resin layer 11 to be disposed on an data recording layer 3 of the optical data recording medium D1, the transparent resin layer 11 having a (meth)acrylate copolymer containing no acidic group as a main component, the transparent resin layer 11 having a storage elastic modulus at 23° C. of 1.5×105 Pa or less and a gel fraction of 68 wt % or more. The transparent resin layer 11 of this pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 for an optical data recording medium can be used for producing an optical data recording medium which can reproduce from a mark with a length shorter than the resolution of an optical system of a reproducing device, and which is stable against changes in the external environment when responding to status of use.

    摘要: An optical information recording medium reproducing apparatus 1 includes: a signal detecting/extracting section 15 extracting, from reproduction signal data, extracted reproduction signal data corresponding to a predetermined data pattern; a calculating circuit 10 calculating, from the extracted reproduction signal data, a reproducing power control value for controlling laser light reproducing power; and a reproducing power control section 16 controlling the reproducing power based on the reproducing power control value. The predetermined data pattern is obtained from a space which is sandwiched between marks of λ/2NA or longer and is shorter than λ/4NA and/or a mark which is sandwiched between spaces of λ/2NA or longer and is shorter than λ/4NA. Therefore, even when environmental temperature changes in reproduction, the optical information recording medium reproducing apparatus capable of reproducing a super resolution medium including marks each shorter than λ/4NA optimally controls laser light reproducing power and prevents degradation of reproduction signal quality.

    摘要: A super-resolution optical recording medium includes: a medium information region on which medium identification information is recorded; a content region on which content information is recorded; and a blank region provided between the medium information region and the content region and in which at least two tracks are provided so as to connect a train of prepits in the medium information region and a train of prepits in the content region. No information is recorded on the blank region. Thus, a super-resolution optical recording medium is provided in which a region on which medium identification information is recorded and a region on which content information is recorded are different in track pitch and in which a reproduction error hardly occurs when reproduction shifts from the region on which the medium identification information is recorded to the region on which the content information is recorded.

    摘要: An optical information recording medium reproducing device (1) reproduces information from a super-resolution optical information recording medium (100a) having the information stored therein by positioning, according to a random pattern system, a plurality of recording marks including a recording mark shorter than a resolution limit of an optical system. This reproducing device (1) performs test readings for measuring indexes each relating to a reproduction quality of the super-resolution optical information recording medium (100a) by emitting laser light onto a storage surface of the super-resolution optical information recording medium (100a), while changing a reproduction laser power from a predetermined initial value, and based on the indexes measured, sets a reproduction laser power for reproducing the information. Thus, since the reproduction laser power for reproducing the information stored in the super-resolution optical information recording medium (100a) is determined based on the test readings results, a favorable reproduction quality can be obtained.
