Abstract: The present application relates to the field of energy storage devices and, in particular, relates to a battery electrode, and a secondary battery using the battery electrode. The battery electrode comprises an electrode tab, a current collector, and a diaphragm attached onto at least one surface of the current collector, wherein the diaphragm is provided with a groove, the electrode tab is embedded into the groove and is electrically connected with the current collector, the electrode tab comprises an embedded portion embedded in the groove and an exposed portion protruded outside the groove; wherein an upper surface of the embedded portion is covered with an active material coating layer. According to the present application, an embedded electrode tab is adopted, and a diaphragm covers a surface of an embedded portion.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for removing a coating layer of an electrode plate, an electrode plate comprises a current collector and a coating layer coated on each of at least one surface of the current collector, the method for removing the coating layer of the electrode plate comprises steps of: (I) wetting the coating layer of the electrode plate within the region where the coating layer will be removed by using a solvent; (II) emitting a laser beam on the coating layer of the electrode plate within the region where the coating layer will be removed to make the solvent which wets the coating layer of the electrode plate within the region where the coating layer will be removed vaporized, so as to remove the coating layer of the electrode plate within the region where the coating layer will be removed and in turn expose the current collector of the electrode plate corresponding to the region where the coating layer will be removed; and (III) getting rid of a residue of the coating layer generated in the step (II). The coating layer of the electrode plate within the region where the coating layer will be removed is wetted in advance by using the solvent, after the laser beam is emitted on the wetted electrode plate, the solvent existing in the electrode plate absorbs the energy of the laser beam so as to be instantaneously vaporized, thereby generating a strong transient pressure, the particles of the coating layer are peeled off from the current collector under the action of the strong pressure, so as to remove the particles of the coating layer, so that it will not damage the electrode plate, thereby avoiding the deformation of the electrode plate.

Abstract: A device for removing a coating layer of an electrode plate of a lithium-ion battery comprises a conveying system (1) for conveying an electrode plate (6) and a laser system (2), the laser system comprises at least one laser emitting head (21) for emitting a laser beam and projecting the laser beam onto the electrode plate and a beam shaping mechanism (22) for homogenizing energy of the laser beam emitted from the laser emitting head, the laser emitting head and the beam shaping mechanism are electrically connected. In the device for removing the coating layer of the electrode plate of the lithium-ion battery, the beam shaping mechanism is provided, energy of the laser beam can be homogenized, neither damages a foil of the electrode plate so that welding quality of the electrode tab is promoted, nor results in remaining of the coating layer so that the removing quality is promoted, and the energy can be effectively utilized, thereby realizing maximum utilization of the energy of the laser.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for removing a coating layer of an electrode plate, an electrode plate comprises a current collector and a coating layer coated on each of at least one surface of the current collector, the method for removing the coating layer of the electrode plate comprises steps of: (I) fixing a region where the coating layer will be removed of the electrode plate by vacuum adsorption from a surface of the current collector opposite to the surface of the current collector on which the region where the coating layer will be removed is present; (II) emitting a laser beam on the coating layer within the region where the coating layer will be removed from a side of the surface of the current collector on which the region where the coating layer will be removed is present, so as to remove the coating layer of the electrode plate within the region where the coating layer will be removed and in turn expose the current collector of the electrode plate corresponding to the region where the coating layer will be removed; and (III) getting rid of a residue of the coating layer generated in the step (II). The region where the coating layer will be removed of the electrode plate is fixed by the vacuum adsorption firstly and then the coating layer within the region where the coating layer will be removed is removed by the laser beam, because the electrode plate is fixed, it can avoid a deformation of the electrode plate during laser removing due to a stress generated in the coating layer which is heated by the laser beam and a residual stress released by the removed coating layer.
