摘要: Systems, methods and computer program products for facilitating the simultaneous (e.g., side-by-side or via a “sliding” animation) displaying and viewing of email messages and any attachments to such email messages are disclosed. Such systems, methods and computer program products allow a user of a computing system to simultaneously view the textual portion of an email along with the contents of any attachments within one application, and without the need to switch between at least two software applications—the email reader application and the native (productivity) application used to create such attachment (e.g., a word processing software application, a spreadsheet application, a presentation application, a database application, a portable document format reader, a Web browser and/or the like).

摘要: When an outgoing communication sent to one or more recipients contains a supported attachment type, a shared workspace that contains a shared version of the original attachment is provisioned. A modified version of the original outgoing communication is delivered to internal recipients including both a link to the shared document and the original attachment.

摘要: A collaborative project management system is provided to create a project workspace linking together various work-product items including e-mails, documents and tasks based on the identification and association of related information contained in such items. A new project workspace may contain groups of documents, correspondence such as emails, instant message and web chatting, tasks, and other data types linked together by common content topics. The system may initiate a new project workspace based on information contained in an initial correspondence, such as an email conversation, by identifying items that are related to the email conversation such as tasks or documents that a user creates or shares subsequent to receipt of an email or message, and automatically inferring an association based on their contents.

摘要: Methods and systems for augmenting an audio signal are provided for herein. In some embodiments, a method can be performed by a sound processing system of a computing device. In such embodiments, the sound processing system can receive a captured audio signal from a microphone coupled with the sound processing system. The sound processing system can then produce an augmented audio signal by selectively filtering the captured audio signal based on a physical location of the computing device. This resulting augmented audio signal can reflect an effect associated with the physical location of the computing device. The augmented audio signal can then be output, by the sound processing system, to a speaker coupled with the computing device to enable consumption of the augmented audio signal by a user of the computing device. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed herein.

摘要: Examples are disclosed herein that relate to constraining communication among HMD devices. One example provides a computing system comprising a logic machine and a storage machine holding instructions. The instructions are executable to receive, for each of a plurality of head-mounted display devices, vantage point data, determine, for each of the plurality of head-mounted display devices, whether one or more other head-mounted display devices are within a vantage point scope of that head-mounted display device, the vantage point scope being based on the vantage point data of that head-mounted display device, and constrain, for each of one or more head-mounted display devices, delivery of communication data from that head-mounted display device to one or more of the plurality of head-mounted display devices, such constraint based on whether that head-mounted display device is within the vantage point scope of one or more of the plurality of head-mounted display devices.

摘要: In various embodiments, computerized methods and systems for identifying object paths to navigate objects in scene-aware device environments are provided. An object path identification mechanism supports identifying object paths. In operation, a guide path for navigating an object from the start point to the end point in a scene-aware device environment is identified. A guide path can be predefined or recorded in real time. A visibility check, such as a look-ahead operation, is performed based on the guide path. Based on performing the visibility check, a path segment to advance the object from the start point towards the end point is determined. The path segment can be optionally modified or refined based on several factors. The object is caused to advance along the path segment. Iteratively performing visibility checks and traverse actions moves the object from the start point to the end point. The path segments define the object path.

摘要: Examples are disclosed herein that relate to displaying image data configured to appear behind a real-world surface. One example provides, on a computing device including a display, a method including obtaining depth data representing a real-world scene, identifying a real-world surface of the real-world scene via the depth data, obtaining volumetric image data and surface image data, the volumetric image data configured to appear as being located in a volume behind the real-world surface, receiving a user input configured to remove an area of surface image data corresponding spatially to the real-world surface, and displaying at least a portion of the volumetric image data in a region in which the area of surface image data was removed.

摘要: A two-dimensional augmentation image is rendered from a three-dimensional model from a first virtual perspective. A transformation is applied to the augmentation image to yield an updated two-dimensional augmentation image that approximates a second virtual perspective of the three-dimensional model without additional rendering from the three-dimensional model.
