摘要: A brake pad dimension estimation system includes a detecting device and an electronic controller. The detecting device is configured to obtain dimensional information from an image of a brake pad assembly. The electronic controller is in electronic communication with the detecting device to receive the dimensional information from the image of the brake pad assembly. The electronic controller is programmed to determine a dimension of the brake pad based on the image.

摘要: A method for determining whether a vehicle was washed at a carwash includes recording navigation data for a vehicle. The method further includes identifying whether the vehicle was located at a carwash based on the recorded navigation data, identifying at least one indication that the vehicle was washed while located at the carwash, and determining that the vehicle was washed at the carwash if the vehicle was located at the carwash and at least one indication is identified that the vehicle was washed while located at the carwash.

摘要: Methods and apparatus are provided for monitoring a vehicle, and in particular, for monitoring a vehicle to determine a vehicle condition based on operational factors to incentivize or penalize a driver. One method of monitoring a vehicle comprises providing the vehicle to a driver for a term, the vehicle associated with a base vehicle condition, collecting operational data of the vehicle during the term, manipulating the operational data of the vehicle periodically throughout the term to arrive at an updated vehicle condition and providing an incentive or a penalty to the driver based on the updated vehicle condition.

摘要: A method and apparatus may be used in a vehicle to generate a dynamic driver score. The method may include collecting data. The data may be collected at a predetermined interval. The data may include one or more frames. Each frame may correspond to the predetermined interval and may be divided into segments. Each frame may include a first acceleration data and a second acceleration data. The first acceleration data may be associated with an acceleration of a vehicle at a first segment of the frame, and the second acceleration data may be associated with an acceleration of the vehicle at a second segment of the frame. The frames may be grouped using machine learning methods to determine the driver score. The driver score may be used to modify driving behavior.

摘要: A method and apparatus for traffic signal timing estimation are disclosed. Traffic signal timing estimation may include a vehicle identifying transportation network information representing a vehicle transportation network including an intersection. The transportation network information may include expected traffic control device state information corresponding to the intersection, such as an artificial neural network based machine learning model trained for the intersection. The vehicle may identify a route through the vehicle transportation network that includes the intersection based on the expected traffic control device state information and may control the traversal of the vehicle transportation network by the vehicle based on the expected traffic control device state information to minimize one or more operational cost metrics. Training the model may include identifying training data from input data previously generated and stored by a traffic control device controller of the intersection.

摘要: Methods and systems provide a derivative financing product for a community shared vehicle program by establishing a line of credit for each participating home to pay for the community shared vehicle program. The line of credit derives value from both tangible and intangible values of the community shared vehicle program. The line of credit is established by estimating a total home value per participating home at a start of a financing term based on an estimated amenity value of the community shared vehicle program for the financing term and a number of participating homes, estimating a cost of the community shared vehicle program for the financing term per participating home and determining a periodic payment per participating home based on periodic payment throughout the financing term to be paid from the line of credit to cover the total cost of the community shared vehicle program while providing a profit.
