    摘要: In a light-sensitive direct posi silver halide color photographic material having photographic constituent layers comprising at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing latent image type silver halide grains not previously fogged, which is capable of giving a direct posi image by subjecting the whole surface to exposure or effecting surface development in the presence of a fogging agent, after image exposure, the improvement wherein said internal latent image type silver halide grains are composed of at least two groups of internal latent image type silver halide grains having average grain sizes different from each other, and at least one compound capable of releasing a development inhibiting substance or its precursor through the reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agent is contained in at least one layer of said photographic constituent layers.According to the present invention, there can be obtained a direct posi color photographic material improved in processing stability, having smooth gradation and excellent image quality, in which the respective photographic performances of at least two groups of internal latent type silver halide grains having grains sizes different from each other are fully utilized.

    摘要: A method of preparing a color proof from a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material and a black-and-white halftone dot image is disclosed, wherein said light-sensitive material has on a support the photographic component layers including silver halide emulsion layers each having different spectral sensitivities, and one of said silver halide emulsion layers comprises a magenta coupler represented by Formula M-I; ##STR1## wherein Z represents a group of non-metal atoms necessary to form a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring including a substituted one; X represents one selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom and a group capable of splitting off upon a reaction with an oxidized product of a developer; and R represents one selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom and a substituent. The method comprises the steps of:exposing said light-sensitive material through said halftone dot image, and,developing said exposed light-sensitive material in a developing solution containing a developer represented by Formula (III) in a ratio of not less than 55 mol % to total developers, to form at least a magenta image comprising .lambda..sub.L0.2 of a spectral absorption in a wavelength region of 580 to 635 nm; ##STR2## wherein R.sub.21 and R.sub.22 represent independently an alkyl group, provided that R.sub.21 and R.sub.22 may be same or different and combine with each other to form a ring.

    摘要: A method for obtaining direct positive images wherein a photographic material having a support and at least two silver halide emulsion layers coated thereon, each layer having a different spectral sensitivity, said emulsions being of the internal latent image type and containing unfogged silver halide crystals, is imagewise exposed and then subjected to an overall area exposure prior to or during the development thereof to form the image. The overall area exposure is such that the photographic intensity ratios between various layers are not more than 6 and the intensity of such overall exposure has a value between light intensities which give 0.8 times the maximum image density of the particular emulsion layer and 10 times that light intensity value. The photographic intensity ratio is the ratio between photographic intensities of two emulsion layers and the photographic intensity is the reciprocal of the intensity value that corresponds to an image density which is 50% of the maximum when an imagewise-unexposed internal latent type image silver halide emulsion layer is subjected to light-intensity scale exposure and the density of the image formed is measured with a light which corresponds to the absorption maximum of the image.

The color proof is prepared by a method comprising steps of sequentially exposing the above-mentioned silver halide color photographic material to each of light having different spectral distribution through each of a plurality of black-and-white halftone images prepared by color separation of a color original, respectively, and developing the silver halide color photographic material with a color developer.

    摘要: A method for making a color proof in a photo-mechanical process. The method comprises a step for exposing a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material to light through a black-and-white halftone dot image, and a step for developing said silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material with a color developer. The photographic material is comprised of at least three silver halide emulsion layers which are different from each other in spectral sensitivity thereof, and at least one of these silver halide emulsion layers contains a specific yellow coupler and the color developer contains a specific color developing agent. A halftone color image having a color tone similar to that of image printed with printing inks can be obtained by the simplified process.
