摘要： There is provided an initializing method for a programmable machine controller, whereby various control parameters of the programmable machine controller can be initialized quickly. The initial values of the various parameters, stored in a random access memory for initial-value setting of the controller, are transferred to a blank region of another random access memory for storage therein (S1.about.S4), and then transferred to a read-only memory (ROM) cassette for storage therein (S5). When a command for parameter initialization is delivered with the controller loaded with the ROM cassette, the various parameters are initialized using the initial values stored in the cassette.

摘要： A signal tracing control system provided in a programmable machine controller (PMC) which controls a machine in response to a signal from a numerical control apparatus. A signal of a monitored RAM (1) is monitored for a change by a monitoring circuit (21). When a signal change is detected by the signal monitoring circuit (21), it applies a signal to a writing control circuit (22) which then writes the data of the monitored RAM (1) into a tracing buffer (2). This cycle of operation is repeated. Thus, only when a data item in the monitored RAM (1) is changed, is the signal traced. Effective signal tracing can therefore be effected with a small memory capacity.

摘要： A simulation method for a programmable controller (PC) is provided in which a ladder program (22) of a PC is simulated. A cursor (1) is set at a relay contact on a screen (42a) displaying the ladder program (22) to directly change the input signal. A logical process is performed on the input signal (5) and an input signal (6) from a machine to simulate the ladder program (22). By setting the cursor at a contact to be changed on the ladder program and operating the software keys, a simulation of the ladder program corresponding to actual machine movements can be executed. Since the input can be changed directly on the ladder program, the simulation can be efficiently performed.

On the basis of a functional instruction stored in the memory means, an individual functional instruction (Func) is repeatedly output to a machine tool. When the format of a functional instruction changes due to a difference in input conditions, input condition (B, C) data are created as a ladder and, by executing a single fixed input condition (A), the lead address of an area storing the parameter of the individual functional instruction is called and output, whereby a functional instruction of a unified format is executed.

A message storing means for a plurality of languages includes a plurality of storing areas (1a-1c) for storing messages in the different languages. When a power is supplied to the PC, a message transfer means (3) transfers a message of a single language previously designated by a parameter (2) from the message storing means (1) for a plurality of languages to a message storing means (4) for a single language. Then, a message selection means (5) designates a message desired to be displayed on a display screen when the PC is in operation by an address determined to correspond to the meaning of each message, and a message display means (6) fetches the message at the designated address from the message storing means (4) for a single language and displays the same on the display screen of a display unit (7).

Namely, the addresses to which the input signals are to be transferred are determined by the mapping data (2) and the point data (3), and the input signals are then transferred to the I/O data region (4). Conversely, the input signals are transferred from the I/O data region (4) to the I/O signal region (1) by the point data (3) and the mapping data (2). Therefore, even if the arrangement of these I/O signals is changed, the change can be dealt with by changing the point data or the mapping data, without the need to change a sequence program.

摘要： An input apparatus, a control apparatus, a control system, a control method, and a handheld apparatus with which a user can easily control a movement and stop of a pointer displayed on a screen are provided. An input apparatus includes a sensor unit for detecting a movement of a casing and a button. An MPU outputs a determination code when a press of the button is released within a first time period. On the other hand, when the button is pressed and held for a time period equal to or longer than a first time period, a movement command is output from after an elapse of the first time period. Accordingly, the button is provided with a function corresponding to a determination input button and a function corresponding to an input button for controlling a movement and stop of a pointer, for example. As a result, a user can easily control the movement and stop of the pointer without mixing up an input operation for moving and stopping the pointer with other input operations.
