    摘要： A still video camera or apparatus which eliminates possible erasure in error of a picture image to be maintained and wherein a picture image recorded in an internal memory can be reproduced readily. The camera comprises image pickup means, recording means for recording a picture image signal obtained by the image pickup means into a record medium which may be an internal memory or a removable IC card, manually operable means, protect signal recording means operable in response to an operation of the manually operable means for recording into the record medium a protect signal representative of inhibition of erasure of a picture image signal recorded in the record medium, and controlling means for inhibiting erasure of a picture image signal at a portion of the record medium corresponding to the thus recorded protect signal.

    摘要： A still video camera which eliminates possible erroneous erasure of a picture image recorded in an internal memory of the camera. The camera has an image pickup apparatus and a recorder for recording a picture image signal obtained by the image pickup apparatus into a record medium which may be an internal memory or a removable IC card. Further, the camera has a manually operable switch and a protect signal recording apparatus operable in response to the operation of the manually operable switch for recording a protect signal into the record medium. The protect signal will inhibit the erasure of a picture image signal recorded in the record medium. The camera also has a controller for inhibiting erasure of a picture image signal at a portion of the record medium corresponding to the protect signal.

    摘要： A camera capable of identifying photographing conditions causative of red-eye effect making the eyes of human pictures in a flash-photographed picture come out red, and recording the identified photographing conditions in an external memory provided on a film cartridge loaded thereon. The camera recognizes the possibility of occurrence of red-eye effect on the basis of the focal length of the camera lens, the object distance, the distance between the optical axis of the camera lens and the light source of the flash light device and the object brightness. When the photographing conditions are identified to be causative of red-eye effect, a warning is displayed and flash photographing is forbidden. When photographing operation is carried out under photographing conditions liable to cause red-eye effect, information about the exposed film including the photographing conditions is recorded in the external memory to enable the subsequent developing and printing processes to correct the photograph with reference to the information.

    摘要： A flashlight photographing device wherein the possibility of missing a shutter chance is minimized, a shutter speed can be set appropriately upon trailing shutter blind synchronized photographing, and an interval of time is minimized until a subsequent photographing operation is permitted. The flashlight includes a plurality of flash devices which are controlled such that one of them which has been charged up at the earliest is caused to emit flashlight. After the charged voltage of a main capacitor of one of the flash devices becomes higher than a second predetermined value but lower than a first predetermined value at which the flash device can operate to emit light, operation of an automatic focusing motor or a film winding motor of a camera is started. When trailing shutter blind synchronized photographing is to be performed in an exposure mode wherein a shutter speed is to be automatically set, exposure of the camera is controlled in accordance with a predetermined exposure time as in bulb exposure.

    摘要： A film winding/rewinding mechanism of a camera driven by an ultrasonic wave motor. The winding driving section includes a cylindrical spool and a cylindrical first ultrasonic wave vibrator provided in the spool. A roller urged by a leaf spring is pressed against the peripheral surface of the spool, so that the peripheral surface of the vibrator contacts the inner surface of the spool at a point in the circumferential direction thereof. The film rewinding driving section includes a film rewinding fork, a cylindrical member mounted on the periphery of the rewinding fork, and a cylindrical second ultrasonic wave vibrator provided between the rewinding fork and the cylindrical member. The diameter of the outer circumference of the second ultrasonic wave vibrator is greater than the diameter of the outer circumference of the first vibrator. In winding/rewinding the film, the cylindrical member is urged by the tension of the film, so that the peripheral surface of the cylindrical member contacts the peripheral surface of the second vibrator contacts at a point in the circumferential direction thereof. In winding the film, a voltage is applied to the first vibrator to rotate the spool. In rewinding the film, a voltage is applied to the second vibrator to rotate the fork.
