摘要: A vibration damping system for a vehicle includes a vibration sensor which detects vibration of a particular vibrating element, an actuator which applies vibration to the particular vibrating element and a controller which receives a vibration signal output from the vibration sensor and controls the actuator to apply to the particular vibrating element such vibration that damps the vibration detected by the vibration sensor. The controller is provided with a sensitivity changing circuit which changes the sensitivity of the vibration sensor according to a predetermined condition of the vehicle.

摘要: A vibration damping system for a vehicle has a vibration sensor which detects vibration of solid elements on the vehicle and vibration of air inside the vehicle. A first vibrator supports a power unit relative to the vehicle body and directly vibrates the vehicle body. A second vibrator directly vibrates air inside the vehicle body. A drive control unit performs calculation on the basis of a detecting signal from the vibration sensor and controls the first and the second vibrators on the basis of the result of the calculation so that the vibration of the solid element and the vibration of air inside the vehicle body are damped. The vibrator control ratio of the first and second vibrators is changed according to the condition of a predetermined factor of the vehicle.

摘要: A vibration damping system for a vehicle includes a vibration sensor which detects vibration of a predetermined vibrating element on the vehicle, a vibrator which vibrates the vibrating element, and a drive control unit which controls the vibrator on the basis of the detecting signal from the vibration sensor so that a predetermined object vibration component of the vibration of the vibrating element is damped by the vibration generated by the vibrator. The drive control unit is restrained from controlling the vibrator according to the condition of a predetermined factor of the vehicle.

摘要: Periodic first vibrations generated from the engine are reduced by the interference with the second vibrations generated from the speakers disposed in the vehicle compartment of the vehicle. The second vibrations are set in a cycle unit of the first vibrations, and they are corrected (optimized) on the basis of the signals from the microphones detecting the vibrations within the vehicle compartment and the transmission characteristic between the microphones and the speakers. During a transient period of time during which the cycles vary (during which the data lengths of the data of the second vibrations vary), such as by acceleration or deceleration, the data on the vibration wave form of the previous vibrations is corrected in anticipation (i.e. the data length is corrected), the current vibration wave form is set. The correction of the data length is made by inserting a given number of estimated data values into the previous data length or by deleting a given number of the data values from the previous data length. Further, the data length can be corrected by extending or contracting the previous vibration wave form as a whole so as to provide the data length in accordance with the current vibration wave form.
