Abstract: A boundary microphone includes: a base made of metal; a cover that is made of metal and has a plurality of holes through which a sound wave is guided; a microphone unit that converts sound into an electric signal; and a microphone unit holder slidably provided on the base and holds the microphone unit. The microphone unit holder has a knob. The base has a hole through which the knob of the microphone unit holder penetrates the base. The knob of the microphone unit holder and the hole of the base are so provided that the microphone unit holder can be moved with the microphone unit by a movement of the knob within a range defined by the hole.

Abstract: A cap body 3 is provided for covering a housing of a microphone body 2. The cap body 3 has an insertion hole 32 into which the housing is inserted, sound collecting holes 31a and 31b through which the exterior of the cap body 3 is in communication with the insertion hole 32. Abstract: There is provided a condenser microphone unit in which the shield of a shielding member that covers a front acoustic terminal from the inside of a unit case is assured to prevent noise caused by electromagnetic waves radiated especially from a cellular phone from being generated. Abstract: A microphone adapter is attachable to a microphone including a microphone unit and a casing having a front sound terminal and a back sound terminal. The microphone adapter has a bottom having a hole through which the casing of the microphone extends and a cylindrical peripheral wall integrated with the bottom, having an open end opposite to the bottom, and covering the periphery of the back sound terminal. The cylindrical peripheral wall has an internal diameter larger than the external diameter of the casing of the microphone so as to define a space between the cylindrical peripheral wall and the external peripheral surface of the casing of the microphone extending through the hole, and extends from the bottom at least to a position of the front sound terminal in a sound collection axis direction.

Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to securely prevent a generation of an acoustic resonance due to a rear air chamber of a capsule support in a capacitor microphone including a microphone capsule and the capsule support and to improve assembly of a contacting terminal which is mounted in the capsule support. According to FIG. 1, a capacitor microphone of the present invention includes a microphone capsule 20 and a capsule support 10A which are connected through a connecting screw 24. A contacting terminal 140 contacting to a contact pin 23 of the microphone capsule 20 is disposed on the printed circuit board 120 housed in the capsule support 10A with an electric insulating block 180 held in the contacting terminal 140 and is fixed through the block 180 and an electric insulating cap member 160. Whereby, the cap member 160 increases the air proof grade of a rear air chamber and makes the air volume of the chamber as small as possible and constant so that an acoustic resonance is not generated.
