    摘要: A control method of a variable-frequency and multi-phase voltage regulator module is provided. The variable-frequency and multi-phase voltage regulator module is connected to a central processing unit and embedded on a motherboard for providing a central-processing-unit current. The control method includes steps of: detecting an intensity of a central-processing-unit current of the central processing unit; providing a power to the central processing unit via M number of phases based on a first switching frequency if the intensity of the central-processing-unit current is greater than a reference-current value; and providing a power to the central processing unit via N number of phases based on a second switching frequency if the intensity of the central-processing-unit current is less than the reference-current value.

    摘要: An apparatus for auto-regulating the input power source of a driver is provided. The apparatus includes a load detector and a controller. The load detector detects a load current and outputs a detection signal according to the load current. The controller is coupled to the load detector and receives the detection signal. The controller provides an operation voltage between a first voltage and a second voltage, wherein the first voltage is lower than the second voltage. The operation voltage is supplied to the driver and regulated flexibly according to different load demand. In the light loading, the device for auto-regulating the input power source can improve the use efficiency of electric power.

The electronic system includes a display device and an auxiliary device, and has dual batteries and two subsystems. By detection and control mechanisms of the subsystems, the electronic system may allow the display device to maintain in a full power state, in the case where the external power is available or the power of the auxiliary device is sufficient. On the other hand, the auxiliary device may apply to the display device, such as a notebook computer, and the battery time may also be extended since the computer has two batteries.
