摘要: A flash unit of a lens-fitted photo film unit has a positive contact member and a negative contact member for holding a battery between them. A main body portion has a couple of supporting projections formed integrally therewith. With a battery being nipped between the positive and negative contact members, the flash unit is mounted to the main body portion, so the battery is securely placed between the supporting projections. On manufacturing another lens-fitted photo film unit that contains a shorter battery than the battery, the shorter battery is connected in series to a conductive connection member, and nipped together with the connection member between the positive and negative contact members. Then the battery and the connection member are held between the supporting projections. On manufacturing another lens-fitted photo film unit that contains a longer battery than the battery, the supporting projection is cut away, and a supporting member is affixed instead, to produce a second main body portion that is adapted to hold the longer battery.

摘要: A lens-fitted photo film unit has a cassette containing chamber and a photo film roll chamber. The cassette containing chamber contains a cassette. The cassette has a spool and a cassette shutter. A photo film is secured to the spool contained in the cassette in a rotatable manner. The cassette shutter is incorporated in a rotatable manner between a closed position to block a photo film passage port and an open position to open the photo film passage port. The lens-fitted photo film unit has a rotatable photo film winding wheel, of which a wheel portion is disposed above the cassette containing chamber, and externally rotated after a frame on the photo film is exposed. A first rotational shaft projects downwards from the wheel portion, and is engaged with the spool through a top wall of the cassette containing chamber. The wheel portion is rotated to wind the photo film into the cassette. A rotating member has a second rotational shaft, is connected with the cassette shutter through the top wall of the cassette containing chamber, and rotates the cassette shutter from the open position to the closed position. Arc-like ridges project on the top wall of the cassette containing chamber, and support the wheel portion thereon. The wheel portion is located away from the top wall of the cassette containing chamber. The rotating member is contained between the wheel portion and the top wall at least partially.

摘要: A cartridge is set in a printer main unit, and has a remaining toner measurer which measures toner in a toner chamber upon setting of the cartridge. A cartridge memory stores information of a remaining toner amount measured previously. CPU compares the remaining toner amount measured newly with the remaining toner amount measured previously and read from the cartridge memory. If there is an increase in the toner, the cartridge is determined as improper cartridge reloaded with the toner. An alarm signal is generated. Also, printing is inhibited. In another preferred embodiment, shortage information is assigned to the cartridge upon using up the toner. The cartridge, if it has the shortage information, is determined as improper. If a characteristic of the toner is not within a reference range, the cartridge is determined improper. In another preferred embodiment, an upper limit of the number of times of toner reloading is predetermined. The cartridge is determined improper if the reloading time number comes up to the upper limit. The improper cartridge is set in a state in which operation is inhibited. Also, when the cartridge is disassembled, the improper cartridge is inhibited from operating.

摘要: When a wavelength set for a spectral estimation image is set through an input means, ON/OFF of light emitting devices is controlled based on the set wavelength set. Further, an endoscopic image of a subject illuminated with light of a predetermined wavelength band or bands is obtained by a scope. Matrix operation is performed on the endoscopic image to generate the spectral estimation image.

摘要: A customer of an eating house orders refreshments by pressing a first touch panel provided at a customer's seat, watching a liquid-crystal monitor on which a menu of the refreshment and an average cooking time thereof are displayed. A cook inputs cooking-state information with a second touch panel provided in a kitchen when cooking is started and is completed. The cooking-state information is displayed on the liquid-crystal monitor so that it is possible to confirm a cooking state of the ordered refreshment. When the ordered refreshment is untouched, the customer can cancel or urge the refreshment by pressing the first touch panel. Upon instructing a check with the first touch panel, the check is printed out from a printer. The customer can order, cancel and urge the refreshments without calling a waitperson.
