Abstract: A refuse body adapter includes a sub-frame assembly, a sub-frame adapter, and a spacer. The sub-frame assembly is configured to be coupled to a cargo body. The sub-frame adapter is configured to be coupled to a chassis of a vehicle. The spacer is coupled to both the sub-frame assembly and the sub-frame adapter. The spacer is disposed in a gap formed between the sub-frame assembly and the sub-frame adapter. A thickness of the spacer may be adjusted to accommodate different gap sizes between the sub-frame assembly and the sub-frame adapter.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a chassis having a longitudinal centerline, a first axle and a second axle coupled to the chassis, a cab, a driver's seat, and a passenger seat. The cab is coupled to the chassis and includes a windshield assembly comprising a first side portion, a middle portion, a second side portion, a first pillar coupling the first side portion to the middle portion, and a second pillar coupling the second side portion to the middle portion. The driver's seat is disposed within the cab along the longitudinal centerline, and the passenger seat is disposed within the cab and longitudinally offset from the driver's seat to improve driver visibility.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a passenger capsule, a front module, a rear module, a lift structure, and a plurality of interfaces. The passenger capsule includes a structural shell having a first end and a second end. The front module includes a first longitudinal frame member, a second longitudinal frame member, and a front axle assembly. The rear module is coupled to the second end of the passenger capsule and includes a rear axle assembly. The lift structure includes a first protrusion extending from the first longitudinal frame member and defining a first aperture and a second protrusion extending from the second longitudinal frame member and defining a second aperture. The first aperture and the second aperture form a pair of front lift points. The plurality of interfaces couples the first longitudinal frame member and the second longitudinal frame member of the front module to the first end of the structural shell such that a lifting force applied to the pair of front lift points is transmitted into the structural shell of the passenger capsule to lift the vehicle.
