    摘要: There are provided measures for enhanced admission control in relay-enhanced access networks, said measures exemplarily including receipt of a bearer admission request of at least one bearer in a relay-enhanced access network, said at least one bearer consisting of a bearer on an access link between a user equipment and a relay node and a bearer on a backhaul link between said relay node and a base station, and execution of a combined bearer admission control of said at least one bearer at one of said relay node and said base station, including a bearer admission control on the access link and a bearer admission control on the backhaul link. Said measures may exemplarily be applied for enhancing admission control in relay-enhanced LTE and LTE-Advanced access networks.

    摘要: It is described a method for transferring data in a downlink direction from a transmitting network element to a user equipment. The described method includes (a) sending at least one data packet from the transmitting network element to a source base station, (b) receiving the data packet by the source base station, which is connected to a source relay node representing a source access point for the user equipment, (c) caching the data packet by the source base station, (d) handing over the user equipment from the source relay node to a target access point, and (e) transferring the data packet from the source base station via the target access point to the user equipment. It is further described a corresponding method for transferring data in an uplink direction from a user equipment to a receiving network element, wherein the caching is carried out by a target base station. Furthermore, it is described a source base station and a target base station, which are adapted to carry out respectively one of the above mentioned data transferring methods.

Said measures may exemplarily be applied for improving handover control in relay-enhanced access networks or networks that contain access nodes connected via different kinds of backhaul that can result in different end-to-end packet delays.

    摘要: There are provided measures for proximity reporting procedures in radio access, for example in heterogeneous network environments, said measures exemplarily including sending, to a serving base station representing a source of mobility of a user equipment, a first proximity indication indicating proximity to a microcell base station representing a target of mobility of said user equipment, said first proximity indication including a carrier according to a preceding access of said user equipment to the microcell base station, and, when detecting the microcell base station on said carrier according to the preceding access fails, sending, to the serving base station, a second proximity indication indicating proximity to the microcell base station, said second proximity indication including a carrier being different from said carrier according to the preceding access. Said measures may exemplarily be applied for mobility procedures in LTE, LTE-Advanced, HSPA and/or UMTS radio access systems.
