    Abstract: A bone conduction microphone includes a housing having an opening, a microphone pad, an element support member, a piezoelectric element, and a drive plate. The microphone pad is formed in a bottomed tubular shape having a bottom portion disposed outward and a tubular portion with an outer circumference fixed to an inner circumference of the opening. The element support member has an outer circumference fixed to an inner circumference of the tubular portion, and a support portion projecting toward the bottom portion. The piezoelectric element is in a plate shape with a peripheral edge of one surface fixed to the support portion and picks up vibration. The drive plate has a diaphragm part fixed to an inward surface of the bottom portion, and the diaphragm part is provided at a center with a protrusion fixed to an element central portion on another surface of the piezoelectric element.

    Abstract: A light receiving device has a light receiving section for receiving a remote control signal light beam, and a light guide section for guiding the light beam to the light receiving section. The light guide section has a first reflection surface for reflecting the light beam to the light receiving section, the first reflection surface being disposed to oppose obliquely at a sharp angle to an entrance plane, and a second reflection surface for guiding the remote control signal light beam, the second reflection surface being disposed between the entrance plane and the first reflection surface. The first reflection surface includes a circular arc curved surface curved outward in a part closer to the entrance plane and farther from the light receiving section, and a linear inclined surface in a part approaching the light receiving section from the curved surface.

    Abstract: A heartbeat detection device includes a bone conduction microphone that converts, into a signal, displacement on the body surface of a user in a thickness direction of the body of the user, and an extractor that extracts a first frequency component and a second frequency component which are included in the signal. The first frequency component is based on audio information of the user, and the second frequency component is based on heartbeat information of the user. The heartbeat detection device is capable of estimating the physical and psychological state of the user based on the heartbeat information by extracting both the audio information and the heartbeat information, from a signal that has been output by the bone conduction microphone.
