Abstract: A rotary machine control device includes: a flux estimator that estimates a rotary machine flux; a command amplitude specifier that generates a command amplitude that is an amplitude of a command flux, by executing feedback control using a product of an estimated flux or an estimated magnet flux and a detected current; a command flux specifier that generates the command flux using the command amplitude; and a switcher that controls switching from a current synchronous operation to a flux control operation. When the switcher controls switching to the flux control operation, the flux estimator gives, to the feedback control, an amplitude of the estimated flux estimated before switching to the flux control operation, as an initial value of the command amplitude immediately after switching to the flux control operation.

Abstract: A moving object detection device includes: an image capturing unit with which a vehicle is equipped, and which is configured to obtain a captured image by capturing a view in a travel direction of the vehicle; a calculation unit configured to calculate, for each of first regions which are unit regions of the captured image, a first motion vector indicating movement of an image in the first region; an estimation unit configured to estimate, for each of one or more second regions which are unit regions each including first regions, a second motion vector using first motion vectors, the second motion vector indicating movement of a stationary object which has occurred in the captured image due to the vehicle traveling; and a detection unit configured to detect a moving object present in the travel direction, based on a difference between a first motion vector and a second motion vector.

Abstract: A moving object detection device includes: an image capturing unit with which a vehicle is equipped, and which is configured to obtain captured images by capturing views in a travel direction of the vehicle; a setting unit configured to set, for each of frames that are the captured images, a movement vanishing point at which movement of a stationary object in the captured images due to the vehicle traveling does not occur; a calculation unit configured to calculate, for each of unit regions of the captured images, a first motion vector indicating movement of an image in the unit region; and a detection unit configured to detect a moving object present in the travel direction, based on the movement vanishing points set by the setting unit and the first motion vectors calculated by the calculation unit.
