Abstract:
A disposable diaper having a C-folded pad within a wrapping envelope, the envelope being substantially wider than the Cfolded pad to provide side flaps adapted to initially underlie the pad and be selectively folded outwardly for securing the pad in place, the C-fold providing a lined channel on one side of the pad which encourages more even, rapid, and complete dispersion of body fluid.
Abstract:
A web roll having a pair of plies equipped with transverse perforations of a specified character which are off-set in the different plies so as to provide a source for dispensing through a force-developing nip whereby web segments issue sequentially and alternately.
Abstract:
A sanitary napkin which has a fluff layer sandwiches between carrier layers, the sandwich being c-folded to provide a lined channel on one side of the sandwich which encourages more even, rapid, and complete dispersion of body fluids. By arranging the various elements of the apparatus for producing the napkin in a predetermined way, it is possible to alternatively produce diaper inserts.
