摘要: A lighting control circuit is for controlling a lighting arrangement comprising a set of at least two light sources in parallel. A current driver is used to deliver a drive current to the lighting arrangement. A switch is associated with the second light source, which may for example be provided for color adjustment, and the duty cycle of the switch is controlled as well as the overall drive current setting thereby to control the color or color temperature setting and dimming level of the lighting arrangement. The controller derives the required average output current and the expected average output voltage from the current driver based on the determined duty cycle and the dimming level, and then derives the current driver setting. In this way, the current driver is accurately controlled to deliver the required output. This enables a single stage driver to be used to control the color or color temperature of multiple light source channels, for example in dependence on a dimming level.

摘要: A lighting unit comprises a solid state lighting element (10). An upper housing (18) forms a light mixing chamber (20) over the solid state lighting element (10) and a loop-shaped antenna (22) is held by the upper housing (18), wherein the upper housing (18) comprises a reflective inner wall at least where it defines the mixing chamber (20) and said solid state lighting element (10) is inside said reflective inner wall. This makes use of the component which defines the mixing chamber (20) to hold a loop-shaped antenna (22) in place above the lighting element (10) and therefore away from the heat generated by the lighting element (10) and away from any metallic heat sink or heat spreading components (16).

摘要: The invention describes an LED lighting system (1) comprising a wireless communication arrangement (11, 12) for wireless transfer of signals (D10_11, D11_12, D4_12, D5_12) between devices (10, 11, 12, 4, 5) of the LED lighting system (1); at least one LED lamp (10) connectable to a mains power supply (2), which LED lamp (10) comprises a driver arrangement (100) with a control unit (102) for controlling the LED lamp (10) according to a received signal (D10_11); a phase-cut detector (103A, 103B, 103C) realized to detect a phase-cut input (Vcut) to the LED lamp (10); and a protection circuit (106) realized to prevent operation of the LED lamp (10) with the phase-cut input (Vcut) if the phase-cut angle of the phase-cut input (Vcut) exceeds a critical threshold, wherein said protection circuit (106) is adapted to prevent an exposure of the LED lamp to the phase-cut input. The invention further describes an LED lamp (10) comprising a driver arrangement (100); and a method of controlling an LED lighting system (1).
