    Abstract: A battery pack includes: a plurality of battery cells arranged in a line in one arrangement direction; a pair of end plates disposed at opposite ends of the plurality of battery cells in the arrangement direction; a pair of binding bars disposed on opposite sides of the plurality of battery cells in a direction perpendicular to the arrangement direction; and an insulator disposed in a gap between each of the binding bars and the battery cells. The insulator having an initial thickness larger than a thickness of the gap before insertion of the insulator into the gap in a compressed state. The end plates sandwich the battery cells therebetween in the arrangement direction, and the binding bars sandwich the battery cells therebetween in the direction perpendicular to the arrangement direction.

    Abstract: An assembled battery has a battery block configured by stacking a plurality of single batteries, and fixing components fixing the plurality of the single batteries. The fixing components include a pair of end plates disposed at both ends in a stacked direction of the plurality of the single batteries, and a metal band making the plurality of the single batteries in a compressed state by coupling end parts of the pair of the end plates each other. Each of the pair of the end plates has a peripheral part and a central part. The pair of the end plates respectively contact both end single batteries located at both ends in the stacked direction at the peripheral parts, and are respectively separated from both end single batteries at the central parts.

    Abstract: Battery cells are fixed by a cell holder and are housed inside a case in a state where both electrodes are sandwiched by a positive-electrode current collecting plate and a negative-electrode current collecting plate, and springs are arranged above and under the current collecting plates. Claws are provided on side surfaces of the case, which can temporarily fix the springs to the current collecting plates at the time of assembly and prevents the case from being ejected suddenly when a fastener is released at the time of disassembly.
