Abstract: A fluid control device includes a piezoelectric pump having a piezoelectric element, a driving circuit that receives a driving power supply voltage applied thereto and drives the piezoelectric element, and a startup circuit disposed between the driving circuit and an input terminal for a power supply voltage. The startup circuit increases the driving power supply voltage to a voltage (V1) lower than a constant voltage (Vc) in a first stage (P1) after startup, maintains or decreases the driving power supply voltage in a second stage (P2) following the first stage (P1), and increases the driving power supply voltage to the constant voltage (Vc) in a third stage (P3) following the second stage (P2).

Abstract: An actuating and sensing module is disclosed and includes a bottom plate, a gas pressure sensor, a thin gas transportation device and a cover plate. The bottom plate includes a pressure relief orifice, a discharging orifice and a communication orifice. The gas pressure sensor is disposed on the bottom plate and seals the communication orifice. The thin gas transportation device is disposed on the bottom plate and seals the pressure relief orifice and the discharging orifice. The cover plate is disposed on the bottom plate and covers the gas pressure sensor and the thin gas-transportation device. The cover plate includes an intake orifice. The thin gas transportation device is driven to inhale gas through the intake orifice, the gas is then discharged through the discharging orifice by the thin gas transportation device, and a pressure change of the gas is sensed by the gas pressure sensor.

Abstract: An electromagnetic machine includes a stator, a movable armature and a device for mechanically connecting the movable armature to the stator. The connecting device includes a plurality of leaf springs. The stator includes at least one first electrical coil and at least one first magnetic core forming at least one open loop between first and second terminal ends of said first loop in order to define an air gap between said terminal ends. The plurality of leaf springs extends on a single side of an air gap plane perpendicular to a first loop plane. The plurality of leaf springs is arranged so as to authorise the translation of the movable armature in relation to said stator in a direction that is perpendicular to the loop plane and to prohibit any movement of said movable armature in any direction within said loop plane.

The piezoelectric cooling system includes a first piezoelectric cooling element and a second piezoelectric cooling element. Abstract: A gas control device includes a pump, a valve, a cuff, and a controller. The valve includes a first plate having a first vent hole and a first vent hole, a channel forming plate having an exhaust hole and an exhaust channel, a second plate having a second vent hole, and an edge separation plate. A manchette rubber tube in the cuff is joined to the periphery of the second vent hole in the second plate by an adhesive, and thus the valve is connected to the cuff. The exhaust hole is opened to the atmosphere. The pump includes a pump housing having a discharge hole and a discharge hole. The upper surface of the pump housing is joined to the bottom surface of the edge separation plate.

Abstract: A micro pump is disclosed and includes a fluid-converging plate, a valve membrane, a fluid-outlet plate and a pump core module. The fluid-converging plate includes an inner recess, a protruding portion and a fluid-converging aperture. The protruding portion is disposed at a center of the inner recess. The valve membrane includes a valve aperture. The protruding portion of the fluid-converging plate abuts against the valve aperture. A fluid-converging chamber is formed between the valve membrane and the fluid-converging plate. The fluid-outlet plate in a ring shape includes a fluid-outlet channel. The valve aperture is in fluid communication with the fluid-outlet channel. When the fluid is inhaled into the pump core module, the fluid flows to the fluid-converging chamber through the fluid-converging aperture and then pushes out the valve membrane to flow into the fluid-outlet channel of the fluid-outlet plate through the valve aperture. Thereby the fluid transportation is achieved.

Abstract: An air motor is provided for converting electrical energy into kinetic energy, and using the kinetic energy to generate a specified air pressure and a specified airflow rate. The air motor comprises plural air motor units, each of which includes a main body and a piezoelectric actuator. The piezoelectric actuator is disposed within the main body. When the piezoelectric actuator is enabled, the air within the main body is controlled and driven to flow. The air motor can be used to replace various types of motors, compressors or engines.

Abstract: A diaphragm pump comprises a carrier part, a drive motor with a drive shaft, a pump head with a pump chamber delimited by a diaphragm, and an inlet port and outlet port. The pump head is connected to the drive shaft such that the direction of oscillation of the diaphragm is orthogonal with respect to the axis of rotation of the drive shaft. A drive transmission element is mounted on the pump head and is guided in a bearing disk mounted to be rotatable eccentrically, so as to be displaceable orthogonally with respect to the direction of oscillation of the diaphragm, such that the drive transmission element generates the oscillatory movement of the diaphragm in the pump chamber during the rotation of the pump head, and as a result of the rotation a pump medium line arranged therein is alternately connected to the inlet port and the outlet port.
