    摘要: Disclosed is a fuel gas control for controlling the delivery of fuel gas. The present gas control comprises an inlet chamber having an inlet for receiving a supply of gas and an outlet chamber having an outlet for providing a supply of gas. The inlet and outlet chambers are connected by a valve opening. A valve is operatively associated with the opening. The valve has a closed position for preventing the flow of gas through the opening and an open position for permitting the flow of gas through the opening. The present control further comprises control chamber means for moving the valve between its open and closed positions in response to pressure variations within the control chamber means. The present control further comprises apparatus for directly connecting the control chamber means to a pressure signal from a power combustion air blower so that the valve is positioned in response to the pressure signal from the combustion air blower.

    摘要: A multi-way valve unit which provides low pressure unregulated gas flow and high pressure regulated gas flow in an integrated gas control system. A main and bypass diaphragm valves control gas flow through the gas valve system, the main and bypass valves being opened by pressure differentials on their respective valve diaphragms. A regulator valve and a snap valve modify gas pressure applied to the main and bypass valves diaphragms respectively. A control means actuates the regulator and snap valves based on degree of temperature deficiency sensed in a monitored space. The control means opens the snap valve to provide unregulated gas flow when low gas pressure is required, and opens the regulator valve to provide regulated high flow when high gas pressure is required.

    摘要: A slow opening and fast closing gas valve includes a valve seat and a valve closure member arranged to respond to a gas pressure to seal aganst the valve seat to close the valve to an input gas flow therethrough. In order to open the valve, the gas exerting the gas pressure for sealing the valve closure member against the valve seat is allowed to bleed-off through a fixed restriction while the input gas is allowed to urge the valve closure member away from the valve seat to provide a slow opening of the input gas flow path through the valve. In order to close the input gas path through the valve, the input gas pressure is applied to the valve closure member to assist a closure spring in urging the valve closure member against the valve seat to produce a fast closure of the valve. A second valve is arranged to selectively control the flow path of the gas being bled off from the valve closure member to provide an unrestricted flow path or a restricted flow path through the fixed restriction. The restricted flow path is used during the opening of the gas valve while the unrestricted flow path is used during a closing of the gas valve.

    摘要: A convertible two-stage pressure regulator in which a main valve regulates fluid flow between an inlet and an outlet in response to a control pressure produced by first and second regulator valves arranged in parallel, the control pressure depending on the outlet pressure and the forces applied by compression springs to diaphragms carrying the first and second regulator valve closure elements. An electrically operated valve is provided for selectively disabling the second regulator valve whose regulator spring applies a higher force than the spring of the first regulator valve. The compressions of the regulator valve springs are coordinately varied by a manually operable selector mechanism for convening between natural and LP gas usages.

    摘要: A fuel gas control valve capable of internationally acceptable operation, including a main valve operable in an on-off mode by an electromagnetic actuator that receives a signal from a conventional electric thermostat. A pilot valve is initially operated by a manual control, and is retained in the operating position by a power unit responsive to sensed presence of a pilot flame. A latching mechanism associated with the manual control interrelates with the main valve and overrides operation of the electromagnetic actuator in the event the pilot flame is extinguished for any reason. The valve also includes a mechanism that retains the manual control in pilot position until the pilot flame is established.

    摘要: A fluid pressure regulating valve having a two-stage high and low flow rate control capability combined with a natural-LP gas control pressure changeover uses a spring biased pressure regulating diaphragm controlling a fluid through an orifice defined by a valve seat. A solenoid valve armature is attached to a spring providing the spring bias for the diaphragm and is arranged to be actuated by a selectively energizable solenoid coil. An extension of the armature is captured by a step regulator assembly which is threaded into a valve body containing the regulating diaphragm. The high fire and low fire adjustments in the step regulator assembly are on non-moving threaded members attached to the regulator assembly and bearing on the extension of the armature to vary the energized and deenergized position of the solenoid armature. A positive temperature coefficient material heated by an energizing current for the solenoid operating the valve is located in an energizing circuit of the solenoid coil to provide a change in the energization of the solenoid coil after a threshold temperature of the material is reached. The natural-LP gas pressure changeover utilizes a cam encircling the extension of the armature and a stop means resting on the cam while supporting the end of the armature extension. A screw driver slot is provided for varying the position of the stop member on the cam surface to provide stable natural and LP gas operating positions.
