    Abstract: A dispensing nozzle comprises a dispensing nozzle manifold. The manifold comprises orifices. Each orifice comprises a port and a corresponding conduit. The manifold comprises at least a first orifice configured to receive a first diluent, and at least a second diluent orifice configured to receive a second diluent, and at least two free-flowing food component orifices. The dispensing nozzle manifold comprises a top, middle, and bottom portions. The plurality of orifices is located at the top portion. The middle portion comprises a first set of conduits, each conduit of the first set of conduits corresponding to a port. The bottom portion comprises a funnel. The dispensing nozzle is configured so that a diluent received in the funnel mixes with at least one free-flowing food component before the received diluent and the at least one free-flowing food component exit the dispensing nozzle.

    Abstract: An assembly for aseptic connecting of a beverage ingredient container to a beverage dispensing apparatus, having a collapsible sheath of pliable material connecting the container to the dispenser at a distance away from the container. The sheath passes through a conduit of the apparatus to provide an aseptic passageway for fluid from the container to the beverage apparatus. A protective cover houses the collapsible sheath when in a collapsed configuration, and the sheath is brought to a second configuration of an extended length to provide an inner passageway of the fluid to a distal end of the sheath positioned a distance away from the container.

    Abstract: A beverage dispenser uses-high ratio concentrates to mix on-demand beverages. The high-ratio concentrate is pre-mixed with an alkaline water to allow for improved blending performance in the final beverage. The beverage recipe may be customized by the user to suit personal tastes. Aspects of the beverage dispenser also may include the ability to dispense room temperature, chilled, heated, sparkling, or highly alkaline beverages. Operation of a user interface to receive a beverage order includes the ability to display and employ user interfaces present on both a display on the beverage dispenser and an application on a mobile device. In some aspects, both user interfaces may be used simultaneously to receive user input. Methods of dispensing a beverage using the beverage dispensing systems are also discussed.
