    摘要： The instant invention provides a flat screen monitor support assembly having a base that is coupled to the edge of a desk, or to a grommet hole in a desk. A distal end of the monitor support assembly is securable to the back of the flat screen monitor. Torsilastic assemblies allow for adjustment of the biasing required to maintain the vertical spacing of the monitor from the desktop surface with pivot pins providing horizontal rotation. The torsilastic assemblies accommodate monitors of different weight as well as normal aging of the elastomeric elements within the assemblies. The support base further includes an offset pivot providing additional rotation aspects without the need for support bracket movement.

    摘要： An ordnance firing system is disclosed that includes a reusable electronics module and an ordnance module, each enclosed in a separate, sealed housing. The electronics module housing encloses firing electronics for electrically triggering initiation of a detonator in the ordnance module. The electronics module detachably connects to the ordnance modules via a connector which extends away from the electronics module housing. The housing of the ordnance module is constructed to be blast-resistant to prevent detonation of the detonator from rendering the electronics module inoperable.

    摘要： A method for uncoupling an interference shield from a circuit board is provided. The method includes providing a circuit board including a surface mounted component and an interference shield configured to provide shielding of the surface mounted component. The interference shield is coupled to the circuit board by a joint. Heating of the joint is effected by induction heating such that the interference shield becomes configured for displacement relative to the circuit board in response to application of a mechanical force. An apparatus for effecting the uncoupling is also provided.

    摘要： A method and apparatus for filtering data packets in a shared-medium or point-to-multipoint communications network. A filter unit is sent a data packet carrying a filter tag value in a packet addressed to the filter unit. The value is stored in the filter unit and subsequently received packets not addressed to the filter unit itself are forwarded only if they carry the stored filter tag. An embodiment of particular interest applies the method to Ethemet frames over a telecommunications access network (including optical or wireless networks), and uses the VLAN tag field to carry the filter tag information.

    摘要： A steerable primary axle for a fairway mower or other machine includes a pair of motors mounted in fixed positions on opposing ends of an axle. The mechanical drive system includes a pair of input shafts having input bevel gears, a pair of output shafts with output bevel gears and wheel mounts, and a pair of intermediate shafts between the input shafts and output shafts. Each intermediate shaft has an upper bevel gear meshed with the input bevel gear and a lower bevel gear meshed with the output bevel gear. The output shafts may be enclosed within pivotable housings. A pair of drag links are attached to the pivotable housings and to a steering linkage. The wheels on the wheel mounts may be steered without moving the motors, reducing or minimizing strain on hydraulic hoses or electric cables on the steered wheels.
