    摘要: The invention relates to end user controlled handling of personal data on e.g. the Internet. Web services are offered in a controlled manner from a service broker (250) provided with appropriate security mechanisms. The broker contains end user controlled policies related to personal data/services, while the actual data is arranged at different locations in the network. Web service information is published in an open registry (256) at the broker. When an application provider (220) finds a desired service in the registry, its service request is guided to the appropriate service broker. The broker returns the policy for the requested service, whereafter the service provider (240) can be contacted, preferably through an encapsulated SOAP message. A preferred embodiment performs common sign on authentication when a new application is contacted.

    摘要: In the setting of policies for personal data, instructions originating from a primary user and defining a privacy policy for a selected piece of personal data are communicated, via an application unit (220), to a privacy-setting node (258) of a service broker (250). The instruction define possible data providers (240) for the data. The policy is stored at a database (254) in a privacy tree for the primary user comprising hierarchically arranged personal data with associated policies. Upon receiving a request for the personal data, the privacy-setting node determines whether there is a privacy policy defined from the data by checking the privacy tree of the primary user. If there is a policy for a requested data, it selects a data provider among the possible data providers and returns a response to the application unit, providing access to the requested personal data at this provider.

    摘要: By using embodiments of the present invention, a targeted advertisement, or other customized content, can be published to a consumer when visiting a website. The consumer is connected to a mobile broadband network and is authenticated and authorized to this broadband network. Further, the consumer is given an Internet Protocol (IP) address of the mobile broadband network and this IP address is used to identify the consumer when the targeted advertisement is determined according to a profile of the consumer.This is achieved according to embodiments by letting the publisher request a targeted advertisement for a consumer visiting a website of the publisher. The targeted advertisement is found by using the IP address allocated to the consumer device by the mobile broadband network, i.e. the consumer is identifiable by the IP address. By using the mobile broadband operator's ability to map the IP address and the consumer identity a consumer profile of the consumer is found and based on the consumer profile the targeted advertisement can be determined and shown to the consumer. The consumer profile is controlled by the mobile broadband network.

The data communication emulating unit then determines a communication pattern of the monitored communication, evaluates if the communication is efficient or not based on the communication pattern and changes communication strategy if the communication pattern is found to be inefficient. Change in strategy is performed through disrupting communication between the application unit and the proxy unit using the data communication protocol and instead ensuring that communication between the proxy unit and application unit is performed based on a signalling protocol via a signalling communication unit (20).

    摘要: A range hood motor housing and fan assembly for exhausting gases generated above a cooking surface. The motor housing has top, bottom and side surfaces defining a substantially cylindrical chamber within which a motor and fan are housed. An air outlet is present in the top surface. Space between the top surface and the fan increases in the direction of rotation of the fan from one side of the air outlet to the other side of the air outlet. The fan has a plurality of arcuate fan blades having at least one trough declining to the outer radial edge of the fan blade to direct any grease draining on the blade in this direction. The motor housing may be equipped with an air exhaust chamber projecting from the motor housing and connected to the range hood body for recycling air from above the cooking surface back into the cooking environment.

    摘要: Embodiments of a system and method allowing a host system to select among a plurality of Remote Client Computers (RCC) the one RCC that is wirelessly coupled to and closest to a specific Wireless Mobile Communication Device (WMCD) to communicate with are described. The coupling between the RCC and the WMCD is for the purpose of determining which RCC in the network the server should send the data to and receive from. The process is executed on a host server computer coupled to a plurality of RCC over either a wireless or wired network. The server computer detects the presence and precise location of a WMCD using a system of wireless sensors. Once the precise location of the WMCD is determined, the server system selects among a plurality of RCC the one RCC that is wirelessly coupled to and closest to a specific WMCD to communicate with.
