摘要: Systems and methods described herein relate to coordinated vehicle lane assignment. One embodiment receives from a locality manager, at a section manager that communicates with one or more connected vehicles in a section of a roadway, target lateral flows for two or more lanes of the roadway in the section of the roadway; converts the target lateral flows to a target number of connected vehicles N at the section manager; selects for lane change, at the section manager, a set of N connected vehicles whose ranked distances from a following vehicle in a target lane are greatest among the one or more connected vehicles, when a direction of lane change is uniform among the set of N connected vehicles; and transmits lane-change actions from the section manager to the set of N connected vehicles.

摘要: Systems and methods described herein relate to traffic-flow regulation via centralized lateral flow control. One embodiment receives, at a locality manager that regulates traffic flow on a roadway via lateral flow control, aggregated macroscopic traffic state information from a section manager that communicates with one or more connected vehicles in a section of the roadway; processes the aggregated macroscopic traffic state information at the locality manager using a reinforcement-learning-based model to determine target lateral flows for two or more lanes of the roadway in the section of the roadway; and transmits the target lateral flows from the locality manager to the section manager, which converts the target lateral flows to lane-change actions and transmits the lane-change actions to the one or more connected vehicles.

摘要: A distributed machine learning based traffic prediction method is provided for predicting traffic of roads. In this case, the distributed machine learning based traffic prediction method includes distributing global multi-task traffic models by a learning server to learning agents to locally train the traffic models, uploading locally trained traffic models by learning agents to the learning server, updating global multi-task traffic models by the learning server using locally trained traffic model parameters acquired from learning agents, generating a time-dependent global traffic map by the learning server using the well trained global multi-task traffic models, distributing the time-dependent global traffic map to vehicles traveling on the roads, and computing an optimal travel route with the least travel time by a vehicle using the time-dependent global traffic map based on a driving plan.

摘要: An autonomous vehicle is equipped with a beacon, preferably including a transmitter and receiver, or a transceiver, for bi-directional communication, which is programmed to interact with other beacons for the exchange of contextual travel information to assist in autonomous operation of the vehicle. Beacons may be stationary and positioned along a roadway such that a signal transmitted by such a stationary beacon can be received by a passing beacon-equipped vehicle, the operation of which can be adjusted depending on instructions received from the stationary beacon. The vehicle can also transmit information to the stationary beacon, which information can be used to assess traffic conditions to thereafter adjust information and alerts sent to other beacon-equipped vehicles. Beacons located within multiple vehicles may also interact to share information that may be used by individual vehicles to adjust or maintain the autonomous operation of the vehicle.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for monitoring a dedicated roadway the runs in parallel to a railroad. In some implementations, a system includes a central server, an interface, and sensors. The interface receives data from a railroad system that manages the railroad parallel to the dedicated roadway. The sensors are positioned in a fixed location relative to the dedicated roadway. Each sensor can detect vehicles in a first field of view on the dedicated roadway. For each detected vehicle, each sensor can generate sensor data based on the detected vehicle in the dedicated roadway and the data received at the interface. Each sensor can generate observational data and instruct the detected vehicle to switch to an enhanced processing mode. Each sensor can determine an action for the detected vehicle to take based on the generated observational data.

摘要: A driving control method, comprising: an external device on a vehicle (130) acquires perception information related to an environment (100) of the vehicle (130), and the perception information comprising at least information related to objects present in the environment (100); and according to the method, a driving-related messages for the vehicle (130) are generated based at least on the perception information, the driving-related messages comprising at least one of a perception message (202), a decision planning message (204), and a control message (206). The method also comprises providing the driving-related messages to the vehicle (130) for driving control of the vehicle (130). Thus, coordinated driving control is achieved by a roadside subsystem (112) of a remote device (120) and a vehicle-mounted subsystem (132) on the vehicle (130). The achievement of the driving control function of the vehicle (130) with the assistance of an external device can realize effective and safe automatic driving. In addition, also provided are an apparatus, a device, a medium, and a system for implementing the control method.

摘要: A traveling control apparatus performs a traveling control allowing for merging on a first vehicle traveling on a first lane or a second vehicle traveling on a second lane by wireless communication in a merging section. The traveling control apparatus includes a communication reliability determination unit and a processor. The communication reliability determination unit determines respective communication reliabilities related to the first and the second vehicles. The processor performs the traveling control on the second vehicle when both the respective communication reliabilities related to the first and the second vehicles are higher than or equal to a predetermined reliability. The processor performs the traveling control on the first vehicle when the communication reliability related to the first vehicle is higher than or equal to the predetermined reliability and the communication reliability related to the second vehicle is lower than the predetermined reliability.
